The facility was very good. Cleanliness, food , staff and atmosphere was superb.

all round brilliant hotel , everybody is friendly and helpful , hotel is spotless , room was excellent , nice big bath and shower , linen and towels were always clean , room was cleaned every day , tea and coffee facilities in the room were perfect , could not fault a single thing

Stayed here many times and everything about it is great. Love the pool.

I wish they did a better bar menu. In 20 years of staying there this is the first time we ate in the restaurant. The evening meal was lovely but usually we eat out because we want more of a snack.

The food and atmosphere in bar has definitely improved.

The fan in bathroom was broken and made noise all night from 10:30 till morning.Didn't raise it at the time because we didn't want to move rooms at 10:30 pm....The window had no filter and wind blowing through all night, understand weather was poor but this is basic maintenance.We stay here quite a lot and when we spoke to reception in the morning showing videos of the issues we had we were told of a refund and are still waiting on this.It's a shame because we stay at this hotel a lot though the year.Some sort of acknowledgement would be appreciated with this issues we had on this particular visit.

Friendly efficient staff . Good evening meals. Rooms a good size and comfortable.

Breakfast buffet disappointing- cooked food kept standing too long so overcooked and dry. Tea and coffee served in flasks so not fresh.

Is a nice hotel for a weekend stay. It has some quiet places to relax (im saying this as its full families with kids, which I don’t mind as mind as long as I have some quieter areas). We loved the bar area near to the restaurant, we had drinks and played cards next to the fireplace while we waited for our restaurant booking time. Then we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was also great, very good variety and the place is bright and spacious.

We didn’t used the pool as it was very busy (however we know that is a good hotel for local families to bring their kids to do fun stuff and it was also Halloween weekend). Next time we will might book the spa, as the main pool is not big enough and it feels claustrophobic as there’s no natural light.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, incredibly clean bathroom and a very very comfortable bed.

On arrival for check in, was kept standing at the next for 10 minutes despite two reception staff sat there both looking at one computer screen. Was not acknowledged until 6 minutes of standing in front of them at the desk.

Room was beautiful with a lovely view, very clean too.Staff were friendly & helpful.Breakfast was lovely.The hotel was beautifully decorated & we can't wait to stay again.

Very disappointing breakfast. The self-service bar was empty and we had no choice other than to order from the "paid for" menu.

The fire in the bar area where breakfast and dinner are served made the room unpleasantly smoky. All our clothes smelt of smoke after spending time in this area. You could actually see a layer of smoke in the room. We had the same experience in April so unfortunately it is not a one off. We were there 5 nights and it was worse at the start of our stay but still noticeable at the end of our stay. Overall spoilt eating in this area.

Quiet location with plenty of parking. Rooms were spacious and staff friendly and helpful especially house keeping. Grounds extensive and accessible. Restaurant evening meals were of good quality.

Room was very warm even with window open and no air conditioning. Bar prices and spa prices were high for what was offered and limited vegetarian options. Room safe could only be accessed on hands and knees!

Such a beautiful hotel - gorgeous rooms, comfortable and spacious bathroom, lovely bedding. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, with a great restaurant, small play area for my son and a good sized pool. The manager was exceptional and clearly takes great pride in his role and the hotel.

Breakfast buffet hot option was ok

The Location was pretty good, quiet but convenient. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was very mediocre, the staff were very unattentive at breakfast. We had to leave early to get the ferry, this must be a regular occurance and we couldn't even get a coffee never mind breakfast. I would have expected the hotel to be more geared up for this. We only found out when we went down to the pool that we had to book and pay for the use of the steam room and sauna in the Spa, very disappointing. There were a number of conferences on whilst we were there. We were not able to use the bar because of this, not helpful. Also all the reception tables for the conferences were set up along the main entrance foyer and we had to fight our way through the crowds of milling participants to get access to our room.

The evening meal was excellent, but relatively expensive for what it was. The location is perfect.

The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The hash browns looked burnt and recycled, the bacon was cold and the scrambled egg plasticised.

Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and explained how their service worked. Hotel location was great as it was fairly central and out of douglas town centre.

Really struggling to find something that I didnt enjoy about my stay here, If i have to put something here I would say the black pudding was under cooked. But that is clutching for something to write here.
