Pros +
- The breakfast room was enormous, it was without a doubt the largest breakfast room we have ever seen! heated floors throughout the breakfast room and with the open fire for ambience along with many running aircons, was perfectly warm and enjoyable, the breakfast was expansive with all the normal choices + more.
- The location, the hotel grounds and facilities, the shared space and bar by the pool, the rooms.
- Nice for just relaxing, easy check in and out.
Cons -
- Not a thing, there was so much attention to detail in every aspect of this property, the fittings and furniture, bathrooms, toilets, reception area, lighting, it was just amazing for this property hidden in the Tuscan mountains, worth the drive, we wished we could stay longer,
- Not too much facilities and no activities. Basic and old furniture, limited breakfast. Nice experience but i wont revisit again. ((Management are not flexible if you would like to change dates for any circumstances))
- We were disappointed with the location of our room! There was construction taking place in the main building across from our room! Also the service closet was located right outside our door which contributed to the noise factor along with construction, both starting early !

We liked the setting and the old style look of the accommodations . The breakfast was delicious, had so many options, and the staff was very pleasant.

Great place to escape the city crowds
No grocery or restaurants near by , u will only use the resort restaurant but it’s worth it
The property is well taken care of. Staff very friendly
Too many children
The property was very beautiful, and the location was quite central for Tuscany.
but the rooms were not as comfortable I did not like that the and the cleanliness. Also I didn't love the location of the room it did not have a patio like the marketing displayed, I do feel like we overpaid and the staff as was a bit rude.
My Husband and I had the most incredible time here. The grounds of the property are so well kept, staff are friendly and the location was perfect. Highly recommend staying here. We spent 6 days here, we hired a car and just drove around to all the surrounding towns and we loved coming back to the hotel and enjoying the pool area too.
Nothing! everything was perfect! no faults from us :)
breakfast had many options, including very fresh fruits the room was comfortable, there were no irons in the rooms but a steamer was available at the front desk
there was nowhere to get water on the property outside of breakfast hours, and needing to pay 4 euros every time felt very excessive for a 4-star hotel. There were not enough umbrellas by the pool or available.
The restuarant/diningroom and outside dining terrace was fabulous. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at the property and both meals were excellent.
Beautiful grounds, big room with comfortable bed & a big shower with separate toilet room. Great breakfast buffet and a good restaurant for other meals. Good location to visit other towns in Tuscany.
Only the dirt road to get there!
Nice room, big shower. Very big pool area with lots of chairs. Restaurant & bar area nice, good breakfast. Lovely grounds.
Would like more towels. Need to have a bigger menu available in the bar to order in the evening.
The gardens, breakfast
Food options at night, distances between room and breakfast,
There are some truly wonderful and helpful staff here — special thanks to Asia, Filippo, and the very friendly chef who prepared the delicious egg dishes at breakfast!
Overall, there's room for improvement in both the service and food at the restaurant. We hope the cappuccino comes with warm milk next time!
Despite the high expectations we had based on the pictures, this place managed to exceed them. This place is heaven on Earth! No better place to rest and relax. Impeccable service and food as well. The only disappointing thing for us was that we booked only one night. We wanted to stay there for longer and are definitely coming back.
Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very attentive. The room was ok, but the bathroom was a bit old and the fridge did a lot of sounds during the night.
The fact that I couldn't turn off the light in the bathroom and the fridge did a lot of sounds.
The property was beautiful, the people were very nice. Greeted by a welcome drink annd anmazing coffees at their restaurant. Good gated parking for the cars. And best of all the breakfast was amazing, the best we had while in Italy. They have a juice presser, a whole charcutterie station, a fresh omelette station, freshly baked croissants and other pastries. So amazing and included which started off our mornings on a great note. Also, the region around is beautiful in nature, good to get away. The personnel were kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite, thank you so much. Our room was huge with two bathrooms one downstairs, one upstairs, and a living room. Would definitely come back.
My 4-year-old child fell down in the room. His mouth and face bled a lot. I will never forget the approach and support of the hotel staff throughout my life. The hotel is a wonderful hotel, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The breakfast and food are excellent. A place I will choose again. Thank you very much for everything.
Great location surrounded by natureVery welcoming and dedicated staffGood breakfast
The food at the restaurant (dinner) could be better (food temperature, cooking, options). But the staff was very responsive to requests
This place was amazing! The look and feel, the food, the people—everything exceeded our expectations. The territory is big and has many interesting details. The waiter Saverio was very helpful and funny.
Apart from the lack of lights at the table in the room, there's nothing to mention. Would be also nice to add a playground for kids somewhere so it doesn't ruin the historic view.
