About
Boasting a large seasonal outdoor pool and a shared BBQ, Fattoria Il Colombaio is a working farm surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. It is in the Tuscan countryside 1.2 mi from Monteriggioni. The property produces its own Chianti wine and olive oil. The on-site cellar can be visited and guests can enjoy wine and food tasting tours, as well as buying some of the produce. A sweet and savory buffet breakfast is served daily. All air conditioned, the rooms feature a TV, a mini-bar, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. They have rustic-style furnishings with wrought-iron beds and wood-beamed ceilings. Siena is less than a 20-minute drive from the property.
