    Pros +

    • The pool was lovely and the receptionist was very helpful and frriendly. The buffet breakfast was very good.
    • Lovely humans and loved that there was a gym.
    • The room was basic, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

    Cons -

    • The waiting staff at dinner were not friendly or helpful. We couldn't arrange a taxi for the next morning and there was no shuttle bus to the town.
    • I expected it to have a more rural setting and also that the gym was on the ground floor with fresh air. I didn’t dislike its ASIS but I was expecting something a little different.
    • The hotel is right next to the main road, so you can hear cars passing by, which takes away from the peacefulness of the place. At breakfast, the waitress didn’t replace my cutlery after it fell on the floor, and she spoke in a rude manner, which was surprising for a four-star hotel. I would recommend considering other hotels in the area, as there are plenty of options.

Great location at the skirts of beautiful Monteriggioni. The facilities are big, clean and pleasant .

    7AlessandroPosted on: 4-27-2025

Nice place with good services and very well positioned nearby Monteriggioni.Tasty breakfast and an acceptable dinner.Clean room and a very comfy bathroom.

If some guest is noisy someone of the staff should intervene, expecially during breakfast. And please, choose a softer as elegant music in particular at dinner.

    Location was good

Terrible breakfast experience and unprofessional service. The breakfast was simply awful – everything arrived late and in small quantities. You have to wait for an omelet, stand in line, and sometimes the buffet is just empty. Milk runs out after 9:30, so you can’t even have a proper coffee. Service was unprofessional and unpleasant.

Traditional, peaceful comfortable, very very clean. Relaxing friendly and excellent food

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bath was most appreciated after walking in rain all day. Well placed to the camino trail. Has its owns restaurant, includes breakfast and has a lovely pool for warmer months.

It is advertised as a 4 star with elegant pictures. The facility is nice, but in need of TLC and definitely not 4 star. Rick hard bed, hair dryer didn’t work, low and no soap in shower dispensers. Paid extra for the spa and the hot tub was like warm at best. Breakfast was great and staff was nice. Willing to correct issues, but these are things that should be pro active not corrective at a 4 star hotel.

Quiet off the beaten track rural area. Bicycle plug in and storage . Comfortable bed and room . Great breakfast built into price .

A bit far to walk to the old historical part of town.

The pool was wonderful after a long walk. The room was very beautiful with access directly to the pool.

Amazing place, competent and very friendly staff. We use to go there every summer.

Location just off the highway was good as a base for travelling to nearby towns in different directions, and a lovely view of Montereggioni at night. Room size was adequate, if not huge. Breakfast was OK, although the very same every day for the 4 days we stayed. Bed was a good size, and comfortable. Lots of parking, and some rooms have a nice view of the pool area…although we faced a small lawn and trees.

We didn’t realize that the size of the hotel would mean lots of bus tours, which means lots of people and crowds at breakfast. The staff are not flexible about serving cheese plates or charcuterie in our room, or in the lounge, where we wanted to enjoy some local wine we had purchased (we are in the middle of Chianti region, after all). And what is it about Italy that the pillows are like slabs of wood? Of four pillows in our room, only one was half-decent, and no others were available. No shampoo/conditioner/body lotion in the rooms, which is odd for this level of hotel. We finally got some after the second request to the front desk…apparently it’s kept under lock and key there.

We only stayed here for one night, on our way through Monteriggioni, and everything was quite alright. Our room was not very big but fine and the hotel lounge is quite nice. The breakfast buffet was very decent.

We arrived late so we wanted to do a quick dive in the pool before it closed, which we just managed but as we were sat on the deck the man closing the bar and pool was so eager to bring down the sunbrellas that he shut it on me as I was trying to get up with my infant in my arms. The hotel is placed kind of in the countyside so you have to drive to reach Monteriggioni. As we were hardly able to use the swimming pool as we arrived in the afternoon and it closed at 7pm, in hindsight I would have rather booked an accommodation inside Monteriggioni.

The property had a big pool and plenty of parking and the staff were friendly.

To get a pool towel was 5 Euros and you weren’t allowed to take your room towel to the pool. The rooms could use a makeover and it seemed a bit high priced.

Nice swimming pool, conveniently located, nice rooms.

Very noisy rooms, bathroom could use a refresh

Spectacular pool area with Hydro-massage area Spacious places full of artistic Super kind and available front office who were ready to accommodate any request very swiftly. Housekeeping staff were meticulous, friendly, and available for any requestLocation is very close to main areas in Siena, Florence and all the town in between

The pool area was very nice. We did not use the spa, but did see it and it looked very good. I did use the fitness centre. It was properly equipped, but the only issue I had was that it was very hot and did not have any proper airflow. On the flip side, I was the only one in there!

The fact that you had to to rent the pool towels, but I guess that is understandable. Otherwise, nothing negative.

    5VeronikaPosted on: 8-18-2024

    The pool is nice

Bedrooms were dated, bed and pillows were not comfortable. Fridge didn’t work, toilet didn’t work (staff did come to help)

    7JelenaPosted on: 8-16-2024

Good location for sightseeing of Tuscany, good dinner, very friendly and helpful staff.

Beds, extremly hard matress. Better choice for breakfast or at least open bar where one could buy a real coffee. It has good potential but not fully used.
