Greeted with a smile, lowish price paid doesn't reflect the upscale feel of the accommodation en the breakfast was just great. What more could you want for a stop-over.

Staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is excellent. The room is spacious and clean. This is the perfect stopover on our way from the South to Germany.

Room was dirty. Especially the bathroom and shower were full of hair.

The giant tub of Nutella at breakfast was fun. The rooms were perfectly fine.

The dinner meal was some of the worst food I’ve ever had! I was shocked at how bad it was.

The lobby has a cool design and is clean. They are a bike friendly hotel.

They shut off the AC for the fall, which is fine but the rooms are poorly ventilated. Two hours after a 15 minute hot shower, my room stayed muggy. The heavy bedding along with the heat made for a poor night’s sleep. I wouldn’t buy the breakfast again. Oh, and there was mold in the top right part of my room’s window.

Liked the breakfast, the comfort of the beds, quiet rooms, cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. Beautiful pool and outdoor area.

Only 2 high chairs for breakfast, not enough for a hotel that hosts a lot of families during the summer.

Address showed a roundabout close by... Indeed, we have realised that the address is two different places in Google Maps. We called the hotel and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and gave us the right direction.

Very friendly, motivated and personable staff. The facilities are fairly minimal but perfectly adequate for our needs.

Montchanin is not the most inspiring place but gives an insight into an industrial town and small-town life in France.

Lovely pool to dip in after a long drive. Breakfast was great with everything you could have wanted and with a frozen yoghurt station, my daughter was so happy. Beds were very comfortable. And the price for that value was great.

Room was not so clean in some areas. If you lifted the curtains or you looked really carefully in the bathroom you could see that. But it wasn't disgusting.

Simple hotel with a small pool and à bar/restaurant . Convenient for a stopover.

The hotel although recently renewed still feel a bit rundown and is certainly not a 3 stars hotel, 2 maybe.

Nice staff, comfy beds, room was spacious. Restaurant had nice staff and food was good.

So very welcoming, staff all helpful and obliging - dealt with a couple of problems we had with efficiency and a smile. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Plenty of secure parking and 24 hour reception.Breakfast really comprehensive and served from 5:00 am.

Extremely comfortable bed, nice evening meal & breakfast.

Aircon was pretty poor, despite it not being that hot outside the room was uncomforably warm and stuffy.

The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient.

The air conditioning was not working. The room was humid and too warm. The food at the restaurant was basic and the waiters were too busy to listen to the guests.

Good restaurant on site. Excellent reception. Secure bicycle storage below building. The frozen yogurt at breakfast as well as the fresh orange juice was much appreciated.

The hotel restaurant was not good. Really bad pasta and not friendly service. Eat somewhere else if you can!
