    Pros +

    • Staff were great. As with most Swiss places, light touch on people, but those that were there, super helpful and made us comfortable
    • Great breakfast. Free bus pass was great. 3-4 grocery stores walkable. The hotel is surrounded by trees - great to hear birds singing in the am and in the afternoon.
    • This is a classic mountain lodge hotel with very Swiss-French accents. We took advantage of the breakfast each morning and enjoyed our view into Valais. Our room had a nice covered balcony. The walk to the bus stop is about 200m uphill but could be much worse. They have an amazing sauna room so definitely check that out for a small fee - worth it.The staff were incredible and very accommodating throughout our entire week there. The restaurant is surprisingly good and any lack in options were made up by the excellent wait staff and quality of food.

    Cons -

    • Signage is poor to direct you to the hotel from the bus stop, go down the hill, not up!
    • Struggle to find something. Maybe a non dairy mild at breakfast although I’m sure they would have provided on request.
    • Bathrooms and furnishings are beginning to look a little dated.Restaurant was closed for dinner. Advance notice of this would have been appreciated.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely room with a great view. Layout of hotel. Quiet, with carpeted rooms. Easy access with car for drop off / parking. Quiet location away from center but it is walkable :)

Struggle to find something. Maybe a non dairy mild at breakfast although I’m sure they would have provided on request.

The room was nice and the location to get to the ski field is perfect

The restaurant of the hotel is terrible, food is real bad quality and very poor presentation for an excessive price

    4CleliaPosted on: 2-7-2025

It is located very close to a lift , 4 min by car . All the people working there are extremely kind .

The moquette in the room was very dirty full of stains , the pillows very small as they are square and no other choice . The breakfast was ridiculous, very greasy pastry , of course frozen and soft bread . A few slices of a horrible ham and thin slices of cheeses that looked plasticky. The juices aren’t fresh but from the plastic bottles .

    Location, views, comfort , dog-friendly

Breakfast was not restocked often enough so it seemed very empty and with little options. Or none.

    8AkikoPosted on: 1-19-2025

The room was clean, comfortable and calm.

The breakfast was poor in variety and missing things (e.g. coffee, eggs) were not replaced immediately.

    6AlexandruPosted on: 1-4-2025

Daily cleaning service, friendly staff, close to ski cable car.

Outdated furniture/beds not so comfy, basic breakfast, no hot options, basic coffee, limited parking space at the hotel

    8MarkPosted on: 12-4-2024

Breakfast was good and plentiful, cold meats, cereal, fruit, croissants etc. Nice view from the breakfast room.

    8GloriaPosted on: 11-17-2024

Great location and very good value for the price! Rooms are tidy and the staff is very kind and attentive.

The building is quite old so the rooms are quite noisy if people are moving in the corridors.

    10JessicaPosted on: 10-4-2024

The room was beautiful, loved the wraparound glass ceiling and the balcony for views. Breakfast was delicious. The best possible place to stay before running Wildstrubel.

    8JessicaPosted on: 10-4-2024

convenient location near Migros, spacious common areas, clean bathrooms -- great before wildstrubel

    8NicolasPosted on: 9-8-2024

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Good location. Comfortable beds.

Small main parking. Auxiliary parking a few blocks from hotel, in a dark area.
