    Pros +

    • The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations. We even got mixed up on our travel itinerary and forgot to check out until late afternoon and they were understanding and didn't mind. The view was amazing.
    • Central location, close to shopping, restaurants, and lifts. Nice views from either side of the apartment. Polite staff
    • The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and catered for skiing/boarding activities with great lockers and their dedicated bus service for any time of the day. Going full board was a great choice as the food was exceptional, great service and a very well stocked bar.

    Cons -

    • A bit dated, and quite noisy due to lack of soundproofing.
    • Nothing comes to mind.
    • Breakfast menu can be improve.

The hotel is well located, a short walk from the village with supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. The staff at the hotel provided an excellent level of service. The staff are friendly and helpful, with good guidance about the town. The hotel has a shuttle bus to drop-off and pick-up from the ski lifts, with pleasant helpful drivers. The breakfast is well laid out and of a good standard.

    Good location for Montana restaurants.

This hotel is steeped in the deep 60’s/70’s with decor to match and desperately needs upgrading, I have expected Roger Moore to walk in when he was starting as The Saint, the more mature British reader will remember him, the design and decor would perfectly match this iconic 60’s tv series. Also, as is typical with what I found in Swiss hotels, no Air Con, which is a challenge in high summer and 30 deg?

Its a very nice hotel, great location, helpful stuff and amazing apartments. We have an upgraded room with kitchen, living room and terrace. Yes, the hotel is a little bit outdated, but it was very clean, all furnish was in good condition. And I absolutely love this decor, like I'm in Twin Peaks. See the pictures, so you understand. We enjoyed our time in Montana, went to spa (two saunas, cold plunge, jacuzzi and small pool with terrace access). The breakfast was also good - its buffet, but the guests can also order crêpes or omelet from kitchen. We stayed for 1 night and the hotel stuff gave us free tickets for 2 days for ski elevators, mini golf etc (a lot of activities were included, because off-season in Crans Montana). Even in high season you can buy this ticket only for 20 CHF, which is very nice price for people, who skiis. We'll definitely come again :)

Excellent location. Very close to the city center and easy access to ski lifts.Very friendly stuff - helpful and provided useful information.On-site restaurant was great!

Facilities are a bit outdated. Breakfast wasn't that great. Bathroom had a weird glass door that didn't allow for full privacy.

Absolutely nothing. Or maybe the fact that they did provide a shuttle to the nearest lift, even though the shuttle is actually a 75 year old converted van.

I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel at the last minute to discover Crans Montana which was on my list of things to do for a while. I had looked on the map where the hotel was but did not realise how much of a hill I had to climb up and down to get to it from the train station nor to get to the village or the nearest ski lift. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted in a manner that I can only assume is similar to that of a camping holiday village, the receptionist handed me the "book" you usually find in your room, I was expected to carry it along with my luggage and the half a kilo key to my room on my own. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room on the first floor in the main building, literally on top of the main entrance with a view of the main entrance and the parking lot. There is a giant atrium in the middle of the building that makes any noise from anyone in the building resonate which was extremely unpleasant. There was no view whatsoever from the tiny room where I could barely move, the bathroom was so small I could barely sit on the toilet nor fit in the dirty shower, the shower head was nothing short of disgusting - see photos attached. The breakfast was beyond limited, served in a dirty room, you could see sprinkles of salt and pepper on the tables from the night before, some of the food was spread across different rooms so I had to guess where to find stuff. Then came the supposed "heated ski room", which was the ugliest and least cared for ski room I had ever seen in my entire life, the thing looked like a basement storage that had not been cleaned since the previous century, there were absolutely no heaters in there, there was nothing to hang your ski shoes, the inside of the lockers was so rusted I even hesitated to leave my rental skis in there. The room had a couple forgotten salvaged chairs from a different era in the back, nowhere else to sit, and barely enough space to open the locker in the corridor.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is close to the center of Montana (where the shops and many restaurants are).We got a room upgrade so we had a room plus a living room and a small kitchen. That was very nice for a week-long holiday. We liked the restaurant, especially for dinner. The wait staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was very good. The staff is really exceptional. They seem to genuinely like to help the guests have a good time and always greet you with a smile and say "bonjour".The key to enjoy yourself is probably to know what to expect. The hotel isn't modern but the people working there and the services they provide make up for it in my opinion.

The pool and spa area is a little outdated. It's clean but an update (and enlargement) would do it good. The WIFI was terrible. So we used our phones to connect our computers to the internet and didn't complain (maybe the staff could have done something?).

Location is excellent - close to the cable car, shops and restaurants. Free underground parking. Not large but very nice SPA area. Very good restaurant. Huge rooms - actually we had two apartments, each with two bathrooms, balcony, living room with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Just perfect! Stuff is very nice, polite and helpful. The panoramic view from the terrace over Pennine Alps - from Matterhorn to Mont Blank was breathtaking!

Breakfast is somehow boring, all the same and it could happen that if you come a bit later - scrambled eggs and bacon as well as pancakes were over. But then we learned that it is possible to order an omelette directly from the stuff - and it was very tasty! Not much to complain, actually. The hotel is a bit dated and the TV-sets we could not use with iPad wirelessly but OK, we should have brought our own HDMI cable, which was forgotten.

+ THE STAFF! Everyone went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We came for the weekend for a race event and they all made an effort to accommodate many extra requests. Always with kindness and a smile. If we will decide to come back next year, we know where to stay! Again thank you, definitely helped make us run faster!

    - After my note about the staff, there is nothing I did not like that would not make me decide again for the hotel.
