Hotel Ad'Eldorado

This hotel is family owned. Virgil, our host, was an exceptional young man whose knowledge of the history of the area as well as the hotel made our stay all the more special. Views across the horizon, our own back garden, modern bathrooms in an otherwise quaint facility the BEST buffet we have had in our many visits to the area. A true gem. A must- we will certainly return.

We loved absolutely every ,minute of our stay, every interaction with the staff, and the discounts for local activities.

The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, the breakfast buffet is full of choices, and the rooms have amazing views of the Alps. This is my 2nd time staying here and will keep coming back when visiting Crans Montana. Everything was perfect…Highly recommend!

Room does not have amenities to make tea and coffee and not available from hotel reception.

Convenient location about 25 min by foot from the station and less so to both Crans and Montana center. Nice mountain view from the south facing rooms. The breakfast choice was acceptable, however having paid such price for the room, being told where to sit at breakfast felt ridiculous while all tables except just one were available.

Noise! There was late night noise on Friday night until after 23.00. On Saturday there was a loud private party of around 30 guests hosted by the hotel owners family on the open terrace, starting from lunchtime and going well into the evening, which made it impossible to enjoy a relaxed afternoon on the balcony and in the room as even with the balcony door shut the noise was too loud. The owners dismissed the complaint quite bluntly saying it was not noisy in their opinion and that in any case their private party would carry on. There was no apology at checkout either. This ruined the impression of the short but expensive stay in the hotel.

Very clean, stuff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very nice and the room had amazing balcony with a great view

The bed is combined from two mattresses, wasn’t very comfortable to sleep because of that. Also I would prefer if balconies were separated better from each other.

Unfortunately the hotel was not flexible at all with the booking conditions.They showed little empathy when my husband had some health issues and asked to reschedule the stay

Large balcony with the best ski views we have ever experienced -wonderful! Excellent breakfast. Ski bus transfer to lifts if needed (although there is a main lift very close). Not luxury but beautifully rustic and excellent value for money!

Clean and spacy room with a fantastic view through the window! Exceptionally good breakfast with even vegan options (!) which doesn't happen offter.

We were not offered an option of a room with a view. It seemed to me Booking.com were given poorest rooms. Not good!

Fantastic breakfast! They even had a nut/spice grinder to make your own muesli, multiple vegetable milks and many other details which you don't find everywhere. Loved the south facing view from our room. Family who runs the hotel are very friendly. Quiet location, between Crans and Montana.

Not a lot of parking available. A bit expensive, but then again, it's Crans-Montana...
