    Pros +

    • The property oozes old world charm ! The interior is beautiful and the bar area has lovely sofas and chairs for relaxing . The resturant was very nice with great service. The exterior has plenty of seating surrounded by olive trees !! It was a very tranquil setting and we enjoyed our 2 nights there.
    • It was beautiful we loved it and wished we would have stayed long. Definitely highlight of our trip.
    • The property was absolutely beautiful.

    Cons -

    • The bed was not a double/queen…it was 2 single beds pushed together, thus there is a dip /ridge between the beds that is very uncomfortable when sleeping. The air conditioning did not function properly. We had it set for 20 degrees and the temp in the room at night was 25 ! The outdoor swimmimg pool was too cold for swimming so we were not able to use it.
    • We didn’t make reservations for dinner before we arrived and they were full. Wish we had known their restaurant was so sought after.
    • Food options. I am vegetarian and am happy with salad. No options. We were sent to Aups.

The pool and property were lovely. The bar was charming, and the patio of the restaurant was really pretty. The front desk staff were so kind.

Our room was charming, but a little dated. We had no view.

sara and cicil were very kind and nice to us, the pool and rooms were great it was a wonderful stay

    the shower was weak

We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant.

We paid extra for a room with a terrace, but the weather turned on us and we did not get to enjoy it (not the hotel’s fault). So our room was a bit out of the way and we had to walk outdoors to get to it. However, it was a lovely room.

    Quiet location and pleasant grounds

Bathroom cramped and dated Breakfast served in small ramekins was too fussy

Excellent location fonvisiting Gorge Verdon. We spent a week there, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is 20 mins drive from the gorge, with less touristy routes in that area. The hotel staff recommended some memorable and picturesque hikes. The hotel itself is very comfortable. We stayed in the villa, and it felt like home. The living room was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable sofa, local lighting, and antique furniture that was in excellent condition. The engravings and paintings throughout the house were all authentic, which gave the whole place a wonderful character. The entire house was spotless and cleaned daily during our stay. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was very convenient, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The only thing we weren’t completely happy with was the breakfast. We couldn’t order hot dishes, like eggs or porridge, and all the breakfast options were served in small glass containers, which kept everything clean and fresh.

Great location with friendly staff in a picturesque setting. A highlight was the excellent breakfast buffet. Easy drives to lavender country, Lac de Sainte-Croix, and the Verdon Gorge. Would highly recommend a stay.

I'd have to nitpick to find any negatives with our experience here. If I had to pick something, it would be that access to our room required walking outside the main hotel which could be undesirable during inclement weather, and that the parking lot tends to fill to capacity when the hotel is full.

The location was lovely with nice views. Comfy bed and nice to have a private veranda. The hotel was lovely with a heated pool and tennis courts and helipad for jet setters. Nice gardens. Excellent food, at a price. Did not have breakfast but am sure it would be good. Quiet. Good wifi.

Room service was not the best. No complementary bottled water. Coffee was complementary but not replaced unless you asked. Also no kettle or teas unless you ask, again not replaced. No mugs. The liquid soap in the bathroom was broken so mentioned this and it was taken away but never replaced.Robe I used for swimming was torn so I put in shower for replacing but again had to ask for another as it was not done automatically. (It was replaced with the same one.)One bedside reading light was loose on wall and did not work although they are so out of charater with the rest of the room I'd get rid of them. Shower head could do with being replaced as could the rather cheap and loose toilet seat.

I love the classic Provençal style of the hotel. The restaurant was excellent for diner and breakfast. The garden with pool very nice. Our room had a large terrace. Staff could not be nicer.

There were no hooks in de bathroom for a bathrobe or clothes.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, easy parking.

First room we had was a bit of a wet smell to it, butnit had just rained. We were moved to an interior room and it was excellent.

Great Big rooms and huge barhroom. Great views.Lovely pool - quite warm (busy in the afternoon)

There is no gym - or places to work out. Bit Strange for a 4 star hotel. The waiting time at the restaurant to get food was nearly 1 hour just for a simple lunch order despite only People at 4-5 tables - and the waiter rolled eyes and nearly lost is when asking for plain pasta with butter for the kids (no kids menu) - Other guests shared that their first dinner took 3,5 hours - so we skipped our planned meals and went elsewhere. Not ideal as nearby options are limited.

Staff were friendly and efficient, warm welcome and good service. Excellent Breakfast.

We paid extra room with a terrace but what we got was a room which basically opened onto an open public walkway where 4 other rooms had to pass our window in order to get to their room. There was only one metal seat outside the room and no table, no where to relax outside the room and no natural light inside the room. This is a popular family hotel, lots of kids under 5 with parents who prefer to drink and socialize rather than looking after their kids, no a good place for a relaxing adult getaway.

Very nice area and relaxing environment. Friendly personnel and food was delicious.

    Nothing!

I liked the playroom with the billiard and the booksPlus it was the softest mattress I have ever slept on

My WC stinked, probably because there was something stucked

The room was fabulous, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were lovely. Front desk was very helpful when there are several errors showing on our final bills.

The hotel charged 8.5 euros for adding a baby crib, which was unexpected and not mentioned in the hotel rules.

    8JamesPosted on: 7-5-2024

A good relaxing stay in a lovely location.

We were a little disappointed with the breakfast as the cooked food was always cold, they had a system of portion control in small glass pots which seemed rather clumsy.
