Pros +
- Lovely place, very near local facilities.
- – The hotel has direct elevator access to the beach – a huge advantage, especially in this area.– The breakfast and dinner buffets were good, with a wide variety of options.– The staff were friendly and helpful.– The room had a small kitchenette with a microwave and kettle, which was convenient.
- The staff! Especially Alexis in reception! He helped everyday with recommending places to go with my children- the views are also amazing. Thankyou Alexis!
Cons -
- Not enough towels, bedding was quite thin.
- – Room cleaning is only done three times per week.– Towel changes are not included (only 1 time) – it’s €2.5 per towel.– Using the safe costs €2 per day.– Beach towels are provided, but if you want to exchange them, you need to pay again.– No drinks are included with dinner – not even water. You have to pay for everything separately (e.g., cola €3).– No hotel parking is available. All nearby street parking is usually occupied by residents and beach visitors. Finding a parking spot during the day is very difficult, and you might end up walking 15–20 minutes.– The pool is small, often full of kids, and closes early (6 PM), so you can’t enjoy the evening sun by the pool.– Rooms for two people have two single beds instead of a double – very uncomfortable for couples.– Pillows were hard and uncomfortable.– No coffee or tea provided in the room, even though there’s a kettle.
- Would be nice between balconies to have a little more intimacy- also, the rooms are a bit worn, but wouldn’t stop a return visit.

Very friendly staff. Huge room. Very nice and clean pool. Great views. Easy access to the beach. The location was very quiet, maybe because it wasn't peak season.
The room was huge but it only had a microwave and limited amenities to prepare our own meals. Facilities are a bit dated.
Nice room, stable WiFI, good breakfast and dinner. Beautiful room with a great view. Gym is small but modern. Staff is professional and very friendly.
The coffee at breakfast is horrible. I don't understand that a hotel like this serves this kind of coffee. Each morning we paid for a decent coffee from the bar as the one from breakfast was unacceptable. We mentioned to staff the reply was that they have informed management more then once but that nothing has been done to improve.
The sofa bed is a little uncomfortable, no information in room about safe, tv or aircon
Stayed here before the view and location is fantastic. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Within room the overall is looking a bit run down and could do with a refresh, beds squeak. Furniture all looking sun faded and tired. Bar in reception area not open crying out to be a coffee bar in day time.
Staff was friendly and helpful.Room view great, comfy bedGym facilities, perfect for us.Room was just what we needed, good size, tv and wifi good.Super close to Anfi Tauro golf course, it should be advertise!! It should be 4 stars and not 3!!
Only the fact that there was only 1 speaking English channel on tv, if they add at least 1 more news channel in english, that would be great.
The breakfast was rich and varied ,the staff were very friendly ,the view from the room was amazing as well as the location
The sofa bed was tiny and uncomfortable ,the kitchen wasn’t well equipped
Location, staff. Weather. Amazing
Nothing, not enough late bars, more towels would also be better.
We had a brilliant week at Riviera Vista. Lovely sea views from the room, restaurant and pool area. Plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The half board price was good value and we were very happy with the variety and quality of breakfast and dinner. Pool bar prices for lunch were very reasonable, and just a short walk to the Spar and a few other restaurants for other lunch options. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful if we needed anything.
Position, view, staff, food
No parkingPool area flooring ruined
Lovely views of the sunset from balconyVery comfortable and spotlessly clean
As it was an apartment it would have been really helpful to have had a toaster and a little more cutlery and a few basics such as sieves draining boards and washing up liquid Literally had one knife fork and spoon so struggled to make muchAn air fryer would be a really good suggestion too so able to cookAlso didn’t seem to cater for the English much as one English Channel on the TV and no NetflixSmall things but could make massive difference
Magnificent sea view, pool, buffet food, very friendly staff
Pool
Area v quite with limited restaurantsNo promenade
Relatively close to various beaches. The hotel pool seemed okay, but in January, it was cold, and only the child went in a few times. The hotel didn’t have a parking lot, but we easily found a parking spot on the street every day
The hotel has a worn-out appearance, and figuring out the door locking system feels like it requires a PhD. Things are falling apart or on the verge of breaking everywhere. ? The breakfast is quite modest and lacks variety
The general ambiance is greatThe rooms and housekeeping are excellent and the breakfast is very good. The staff are helpfulThe lift and bridge to the beach is very usefulIt is close to Amadores Beach but much quieter
The pool is cold; the flooring around the pool area needs replacing as it is worn with several holes. There is limited parking outside the hotel but more down the (steep) hill
Room, bathroom and terrace were simple, clean and nice. The view was nice, The weather was wonderful. Breakfast good, The dinner was good, The staff are very nice and efficient.
Bed hard. It had been better with a small kitchen sink, the micro didn't work (room 2302), the coffee maker was very bad.And i hope you will replace the floor in the outdoor walking area to the sun front.
The view is nice, easy to get to the beaches, buses are also very handy
Pillows and bedding
Location of the hotel is very good. Close to everything (shop, beach, restaurant). Room with a sea view is great. In general room has everything you would need and is specious. Staff was polite and pleasant. At low season (December) it was easy to park the car right next to hotel or maybe 100-200 meters from it.
Many things feel really dated and is really asking for renovation. I mean it is not broken, but you feel many surfaces or items have been used past its prime.Breakfast is OK but not very big variety.
