Hotel Nikolasch mit eigenem Seebad - Adults Preferred

Great atmosphere and a super Sommer escape. The apartment was well presented and extremely clean.

The weather was not what we wanted. Nothing the hotel can do about that.

Fabulous location, very nice staff

The lack of air conditioning and the noise from the main road made the hot summer nights quite difficult

The private lake access is fantastic. Everyone was super kind and helpful. Cleanliness was perfect.

The main road next to the hotel means you have to keep the windows closed for the night, but there’s no air conditioning in the room, so that’s an unlucky combination.

Breakfast was a real treat. Very well stocked with a variety of items and if you wanted they would cook you eggs.The beach experience is wonderful. We even went over int he rain. So clean and well maintained and even though it was cold water other clients enjoyed a swim in the lake. Fun boats and peddle boats. Excellent chaise lounges and umbrellas.

So sad that it is on the highway. At night the traffic goes down to almost nothing but you are aware os of the noise all day long. Sigh.

The Nikolasch family was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The breakfast, proposing fruits, different types of ham and cheese, different types of bread, different types of fruit juices, etc. was excellent. The situation of the hotel just beside the lake is ideal.

Very friendly family keen to help in-obtrusively. Breakfast on the terrace perfect. Dock on the lake is also a perfect relaxation spot.

Such a shame that there was no "drinks on the terrace in the evening" or even a special snack to go with an aperitif before heading out to dinner. Seems like a real lost opportunity.

It was right in front of the lake making the access super easy. The owners were really hospitable and helpful. The staff were amazing and had great breakfast options.

Nothing as such but if the rooms could come with refrigerator and water kettles it would be great.

The private access to the lake is wonderful withuse of paddle boards, kayaks etc. Drinks available at the lake using an honour system (awesome), pay at the hotel.Staff were really lovely. Looked after my bag.Breakfast great selection with proper coffee machine.

Single room was tiny but worst thing was the broken bed. The slats underneath the mattress were broken, each time i moved so did the slats sending the mattress and me to the floor. I did not sleep at all after fixing it 5 or so times in the night. I alerted the owner, i hope they've fix it as its ratherexpensive for a single tiny room.

The room was small but clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast included much choice, including made-to-order eggs. There was secure parking for my bicycle. And finally, the bathhouse and private beach area of Hotel Nikolasch directly at the lake was a dream.

The location is great, and the room is nice and clean (bathtub and shower!)

We had a lovely room, and the breakfast on the balcony was great. The hotel design is lovely and its surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the private beach though it was quite crowded.

From 7:30 till 11:00, the hotel had an amazing breakfast buffet! which, if you want to sleep a little longer, is ideal. The staff provided us two room alternatives and was really kind and knowledgeable. The hotel is owned by a family, and it is clear that they are skilled at what they do and like what they do. The hotel includes a self-serve beach bar with affordable rates on its own private beach. Free Standup Paddle Boards and 2 little row boats are also available to you to explore the lake.

Millstatt sits directly on a major road, and the vehicles there go at high speeds and make a lot of noise. That roadway leads to the hotel. Although accommodations towards the back of the building are undoubtedly preferable for a peaceful night's sleep, rooms with sea views are undoubtedly better for scenery. But the hotel owner informed us about it and let us decide, which room we wanted.

Very nice area, room with an incredible view. Staff was helpful. We would recommend 2 nights at least.
