Pros +

  • The receptionist who greeted me was very friendly and very helpful. She informed me of the cable times and where to get the bus back to Rimini. I can only commend her. Also, the waiter who served me in the restaurant was quite friendly too. However, I can't say I enjoyed my stay here. The room was quite noisy. I was located in room 14 along the stairs and could hear everything around me. The church bells also chimed every 15 minutes till midnight and from 6am. Furthermore, the shutters were broken, allowing sunlight to flood through. This was really counterproductive to a good night of sleep, and sadly, I only managed 5 hours of sleep while staying here. The breakfast was also less than basic. The man working on duty that morning wasn't particularly friendly. Moreover, when I went to check out he kept insisting I hadn't paid, when I did upon check-in. Thankfully, I kept the receipt and produced it as proof. The location is not quite the old town, and the cable car stops running at 7.45pm, so it's not so central sadly. It's an ok location, but it's not the centre point for sure and it's quite quiet in the evenings.
  • This is a small hotel in an old building at the foot of the central part of San Marino, 2 minutes from the cable car. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and rustic, immersing you in the atmosphere of the place. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

Cons -

  • Our room was quite small, but for one night stay - absolutely no issue.
