We loved the area and location of Petani Resort. The facility is family-run and Yiannis and Margarita were both warm, helpful and very professional. Very good breakfast to start the day, very clean and comfortable rooms and beds. All in all, a very relaxing holiday. The view is breathtaking. Huge thanks to our hosts!!!

We totally loved the island. The only point to keep in mind is driving. Kefalonia is large, roads are winding (but really beautiful), and it takes time to go to beaches, villages, sight-seeings and tavernas. As a driver, one needs to be careful and tireless. But the result overcompensates the effort!!! Amazing island, experience and people.

We loved our stay in Petani Resort. Everything was brilliant - the room was modern, clean, and well equipped; the pool area was beautiful and well looked after. Sunsets from the balcony were spectacular!

Very remote location took us ages to go anywhere… So remote that mobile signal wasn’t there.. on top of that WiFi signal in the room was non existent meaning that we didn’t have internet at all while inside the room

We were a family of 3 (2 adults and a 12 years old teenage) and had the triple room. The room was clean and spacious. The bed are large and comfy even if the mattresses were a bit too soft for our tastes. The amenities were just perfect. We liked a lot it was quiet and a serene atmosphere. The pool was great and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very pleasant, Iani gave us a lot of information. The breakfast was very good.

I cannot fault the property.. only 9/10 rooms which meant the pool area was quite most the time! At most 3 other rooms were at the pool the same time as us! Owner & all the staff are so friendly nothing was too much problem for them. If you’re considering this hotel just book it. It’s probably my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at for a summer holiday. Sunsets are incredible from your door step.

Literally the only negative is it’s fairly remote. There is a restaurant 2 minutes away other than that it’s 10-15 min drive. But don’t let this put you all.

This is relaxing at high level. This is how holiday or breaking away needs to be. Resort is luxery and personel is outstanding. Area surrounding is very local Greec style, beaches are breathtaking. Best for couples.

We enjoyed staying at Petani Resort. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. We liked that it was very quite and peacful and the view is amazing!

It wasn't something to mention.It would be helpful to have protection at windows for insects, but other than that, we didn't miss anything.

We are really surprised with such a high rating for this resort. Breakfast was very average! Facilities in the rooms were not up to the mark. Poor wifi and the location is completely remote. No restaurant options nearby and you need to drive at least 30 min for food!

I loved everything about this place, the people who work there are wonderful, The room is beautiful, very clean and with a wonderful view, this place is new and really beautiful! delicious breakfast with many options, the location is perfect and many restaurants nearby, we would definitely stay again this place, this is a paradise!

Words can not describe how amazing the resort and staff where. The location, resort, views, staff, exceeded my expectations. Have found my go to place when I am in Greece. Nothing to report, everything was amazing

Everything was great - parking, room, pool, views, breakfast was so simple but absolutely fine.

Wi-Fi could have been better.

Excellent choice at breakfast. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Pool area clean and water warm with very comfy sun beds.

The driveway is very steep and takes a bit of navigating the first time. There are not 9 spaces on the flat area next to the hotel for the 9 rooms so several have to park on the steep slope.

Petani Resort is an amazing spot for a quiet beach getaway at a great price. The resort is small, so even at full capacity, it always felt quiet and low-key. We had wonderful sweeping views from our spacious, ground-floor balcony, and from the lovely poolside. The pool is large, modern and pristine with spacious surrounds and plenty of comfortable loungers, and the rest of the facilities, which were generally modern, well-maintained and spotless too. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. Petani is on the quieter side of the island (about an hour drive from the airport), which is great if you're looking to avoid the crowds, but there's several gorgeous beaches nearby, including Petani itself, which is beautiful and has a couple of good tavernas serving good coffee and food. Despite being on the quiet side of the island, there's 4-5 tavernas within a few minutes' drive of the resort (including one just a couple of hundred metres away). Petani is rare in that it has good cooking facilities and fridges in the rooms, so we ended up eating in a lot. There's also a cafe / deli serving good espresso coffee and local cheeses / olives etc. a few minutes' drive down the hill. Highly recommended all round.

I loved the quiet location, perfect cleanliness, friendly and professional staff, breakfast and pool. And it's so close to the fantastic Petani beach.

Comfortable rooms, exceptional sunset view.

Low-quality breakfast with many processed items, and we had a 2-day issue with no hot water in the shower (which was eventually resolved).

Frankly we liked everything about this wonderful boutique property. Perfect for relaxation around a spotless pool after a long days driving and great location to visit Petani beach and the west of Kefalonia. We only booked for one night as we were touring, but were treated like we’d booked for a month. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and a good variety of bar meal food available on the menu as well, we chose to eat in that evening and enjoyed great service and food. Watching the sunset with a drink and free bar snacks was wonderful. This in our opinion, is an outstanding property with wonderful friendly hosts and great service in an outstanding location.

Very friendly staff, especially the girl at breakfast was very helpful with perfect recommendations about kefalonia, at a very nice and peaceful location. Very clean room and with a very nice breakfast.

The location has very bad cellular signal and our room hadn’t at all. Because of that you are dependent on Wi-Fi which at pick time (19:00 - 24:00) had disconnections every few seconds.
