    Pros +

    • Breakfast excellent but what stood out for us was the exceptional service of the receptionist, Melina(?), at check in which was late. She was charming, very welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient and went well beyond the highest standards we have experienced around the world in hotels for over 60 years in helping us.
    • Cool design in old building, newly renovated. Very nice pool area. Sweetest staff.
    • Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely building on a good location.

    Cons -

    • Nothing in particular
    • Limited facilities- no coffee making in room Pool was closed due to weather conditions
    • The room was damp, with squeaking floors. The AC was located in the corridor, almost like a separate room, and it made so much noise that if you closed the door, it became pointless to have it on. The room was definitely not worth the €300 charged. Breakfast is better skipped — a local bakery would be a far better option. Since they don’t have a proper kitchen or cook, the breakfast offered was really poor. All in all, it feels overpriced for what it is.

The view from the 3-floor terraces is amazing, staff very friendly and tentative

Suggest you improve fire exit signage! We lived on 3rd floor and had to figure this out on our own

it was in a convenient location for walking to the wineries, hiking, restaurants, and shops. The atmosphere was serene and the decor was very chic. The room was spacious and the bed was big. the courtyard was peaceful; the pool was perfect, and the view at night was stunning. Also there is space to park temporarily, to check in and then park in a safe and inexpensive new garage a short walk away. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

If you need air conditioning, and you travel to Europe, keep your expectations low. The room we had was at the typical euro level, we opened the windows and they provided a fan that worked out well.

Quirky well appointed hotel, well located.

Very hot in the hotel. Couldn’t open windows and no air con working

Beautiful hotel with great location, with only one night stay didn't have time to use the facilities.

Car parking difficult to find as not hotels parking.

Stunning room, beautiful location with a hidden garden that overlooks town

There is no private parking, but public parking is nearby.

Convenient location close to town centre as well as the foot bridge connecting to Tain l'Hermitage. Very pet friendly and the staff went out of the way helping with our luggage and giving us excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. They also have beautiful gardens at the back with great views. Highly recommend!

We love staying at the Hotel Villeon, we have stayed for the past two years and we can't fault it. The staff are charming and extremely helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is great!

An antique building beautifully adopted for a hotel. We would love to be back to stay more days.

The room was big, clean and comfortable. Its air conditioner is located in a corner that does not allow the temperature became homogeneous on the room.

Location was perfect, staff professional and very helpful with recommendations, rooms lovely.

It was a good stopover when travelling. Well placed for walking to restaurants The staff were very helpful and excellent at sending on an item left at the property

It is in a narrow street and car parking was a shortish walk away. Also quite expensive.

Friendly service in classic building. Convenient location to explore Tournon, Tain and the general area. Nice breakfast service.

We would have liked a better description of where to park. The person at reception at the time of our visit only said it was closely down the street and underground. Was a little confusing to find the parking lot the 1st time, would help if they would show it on a map on arrival. The room was nice and large, could have used a little more furniture for comfort.

A beautiful building with comfortable air-conditioned rooms and a truly stunning garden and very friendly staff. Central location in old town with free parking conveniently close by.

Top floor room was quite warm and had small windows.
