The room was very comfy. The location is in a quiet place near to the beach.

Didn't have hot water at night.

Excellent value for money, good quiet location, not sea-front but very close to all beaches, shops and restaurants, big room with an huge balcony (we had the top floor, probably one of the largest). OK kitchen appliances, all necessary stuff available if not the most modern. Good AC. Friendly forthcoming host.

quite an old bathroom, workable but badly fitted shower, water pipes very noisy at night - we were woken twice by a vibrating toilet tank, which makes a fun holiday story but was quite annoying at the time.

balcony wasn't spacious enough for us?

The owner was very good at communicating via the messaging service and had messaged to say that we had room 12 and the key would be inside. We found room 12 despite the room number missing on the door, and the key was there.We enjoyed the comical search for the kitchen and eventually finding it in a cupboard on the balcony! We had a very nice meal in a local taverna. There was good parking.

The balcony and kitchen were unusable in the wind, which was a great shame as that was high up our list. The sun never touched our balcony at all, it was cold, shady and unwelcoming. There was no hot water for an evening shower. There was only one clean pillow slip, the other one grubby and stained. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the springs in the mattress poking into our backs at different angles and hard. A huge gap between the two mattresses. At midnight, some loud party started upstairs with music until about 2am. Strange hooting noises during the night. Before 7am, the resident yappy dog was let out to bark continuously which didn't fail to wake everyone up. No hot water for a morning shower either to relieve our aching backs. We left after one night as we found the whole place depressing.

Everything. We had been in the same apartment last year, enjoyed a lot (details in my review from June 2023), and we were back this year again (this time for the whole week, even if we'd like to stay even more). I think this says it all.

That we've had to leave much too soon. But, we hope to be back as soon as possible again.
