Tsaner Apartment and Rooms

The apartment was excellent – very clean, tidy, and well-organized. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay and is very practical in every sense. The location is also great, just a short walk from the beach. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

The appartment was a great combination of good value, proximity to the beach, onsite parking and a really friendly host. We were there with four adults and two small children for three days and it was great for a brief stay like ours. It was spotlessly clean and the double bed and bunk beds were very comfortable. There was always plenty of hot water too.

The sofa bed is unfortunately a better sofa than bed and would need a topper to make it more comfortable for two adults to sleep in. It was the only thing we found needs attention.

It is a quiet area close to the beach, the market, and nightlife. You can enjoy everything that Matala offers and go everywhere by walking.

Fab little apartment in a great location in Matala.Everything you would need including cleaning stuff and towels ! Friendly staff and use of a great pool and bar just over the road so no pool noise in the rooms .

I didn’t like leaving and can’t wait to go back !

Very nice renovated room, huge shower, welcome biscuits and water, self check-in, Matala beach and city center are 5 minutes on foot!

The blue light of the key holder on top of my head while trying to get asleep was quite annoying

Very nice , clean apartment, just a few hundred meters away from the beach. Far enought to be nice and quiet , close enough to go by feet. Recently renovated, Very nice shower and had everything we might need.

Great location: walking distance to beach and centre. Swimming pool is at the hotel across the street. The room is specious enough for 2 people. Very clean. Bed and shower very good!

Comfy bed, only five minutes walking distance to the beach. Spacious bathroom with rain shower.

Rather small room, but perfectly fine for a Matala sleepover.

Very clean and good location. Easy check in. All necessary things are available. Nice balcony/view.

You can hear everything what is happening outside of the door, in the hallway very loudly.

Good location

The room had a really bad smell when we first entered. The host knocked our door at 11.00 sharp to tell us that it was check out time even though the check out was at 12pm according to booking.

2 bathrooms, friendly owner, clean, 5min walk to the Matala center...top??

Everything needed in one spot. Comfortable bed, coffee maker, washing machine, internet, private bathroom and the balcony. Located in the quieter area of Matala. Truly a wonderfull stay and only a 5 minute walk from the center / beachEasy self check in as well.And they dont cheap out on the pillows either!

Amazing hospitality everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. Location was ideal during the matala beach festival because it 5 minute was walking distance from the beach/ shops etc.

Apartment Tsaner has a good location 10 min walk from the beach and from the center of the village Matala. It is quieter than the centre itself, which is full of restaurants and shops. The appartments are in a newly renovated two-storey house with many balconies overlooking the surrounding hills. We had a nicely decorated studio with a kitchenette and balcony, everything perfectly clean. There was also available a washing machine close to our studio. The host Ms. Kadiani is very friendly and hospitable, she prepared for us a bottle of local wine, fruits and snacks, printed our boarding passes, and as she traveled to Heraklion on the day of our departure, she drove us to the airport. Matala Beach is in a bay, so it is protected from big waves. Red Beach is not far, but one needs good shoes for walking on stones and rubble. Matala is a good starting point for visiting several important archaeological sites (Faistos, Agia Triada, Gortys), but one has to rent a car to get there. These places are worth of visiting, they are not full of tourists as Knossos.

The room was excellent. Amazing views, excellent location and very clean. It was occupied with a mini fridge and a coffee machine. It was modern, comfy and excellent for a family. Near to the bus/ train station and the city center. Highly recommended.

To be honest there is nothing that needed attention.

The owner was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We could use the pool from Matala Bay Hotel which is next door. They even provided after sun lotion which I REALLY needed one day.

Unfortunately the fridge broke just after we arrived.All is ok but the first impression is a bit old fashioned (especially the yellow paint doesn't fit to the other nice natural.colours) so it would be even better if it was slightly freshened up. But some.people won't care about this.

The room was big enough, breakfast and the pool was a plus
