Hotel Miramare

It was clean and staff was very friendly. Room was quite big and bathroom was nice.

Breakfast could use a bit more variety, but it was still good tasting.

The overall impression of the hotel ended up being very disappointing. The start was very unpleasant. There are traffic limited zones around the hotel and hotel provided some recommendation on parking. We parked being 90% sure that we parked right outside the TLZ. We came to the hotel, which was 30 meters away and asked the man at the front desk (I think his name Luka) to take a quick look to make sure that we parted correctly and will not get a ticket. He just needed to step out and walk 15 meters to the corner of the building and take a look. He said that he is not going to do it and was showing something on the city map with us not being able to understand most he was saying. We went back and forth for almost 10 minutes getting both agitated. Finally, when I told him that I am very unhappy , he went to the corner, which took him 20 seconds, and confirmed that parking is fine. My wife and I were mad. We are in Sicily for a month staying in a number of hotels and B&Bs with amazing helpful staff and all our scores being 9-10.And after running into this rude unhelpful person at the front desk, we were rather unhappy about this hotel. It is fine, location-and facilities -wise

Room needs a refurb. Could not understand why breakfast opens at 8am and not earlier. We needed to leave by 8am and had to miss breakfast

Unfortunately it was too noisy. Loud music from across the street till 3:00am with no soundproofing. Very noisy in the hotel corridors too. Pool was green.

No parking and very noisy at night.

From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent - very helpful and pleasant. This included all reception staff and the two girls who managed breakfast, and after the first morning brought us our choice of coffee as soon as we arrived.The room was an excellent size - lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage, and the ensuite was also large. The balcony on the side of the hotel still had an excellent sea view.The location couldn't be better - step out the front door right into the very centre of the town, with it's restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The beach is directly across from the hotel.Excellent hotel in fantastic location.

We had the room just above the supermarket and the noise in the morning was just unbearable: the deliveries, the garbage collections etc, it’s starting from 6:30-7:00am, so unless you start your day that early-avoid at all costs! Also the cleaning staff’s trolleys are something else, they roll them on the hard tiled floors and it’s like a train is passing by

This hotel is right on the beach, the building itself seems to be well maintained as well as modern and clean.The staff was way and above, very nice, very helpful and shared good knowledge about the localities around the hotel. They even arranged 5-star transportation to and from the Catania Airport.

The hotel is right at the center, since we visited in December it was very quiet. We paid for a room with a sea view, we had a side sea view but still good. The staff working there is super lovely and helpful about everything. The breakfast was amazing.

We stayed three in a room the extra bed hurt my dad's back a bit, but the other day I slept in this bed, and was all good for me.

Close to the sea. Centrally located. Pool clean. Staff helpful. We would come back again. .

Loved it all. There could be a ladder in the pool to make it easier to get out of it.
