Pros +
- So many to mention. The view from the dining terrace, our room and the garden is magnificent. The garden is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained to compliment the stunning view. The staff, from the reception desk to the restaurant staff was courteous, welcoming, and attentive to my personal dietary limitations We also like the area full of walking opportunities just from the hotel, then farther away, a hiking trail along the coast to Marciana Marina. The restaurant Da Sauro serves up a good selection of seafood as well as traditional toscana dishes in additivo to the half board option. We had the zuppetta, a seafood soup. It was so delicious, we repeated it the second night. The breakfast buffet offers a nice selection of sweets and savory choices to satisfy guests preferences.
- Amazing place, exceptionally nice staff (our children loved them), good breakfast (only thing I missed was some vegetable for breakfast), peacefull place for recharging energy
- Wow! You can really relax here. It’s not a quick walk to the beach but it’s a nice short bike ride it car trip (beach parking is not great). But walk if you’re going to spend the whole day at the beach- which you can. The garden and the restaurant and the bar at this hotel are really what make it stand out, that and the staff. It’s really wonderful. The bed is ok comfortable, like 5 out of 10. The shower pressure 6.5 but non of this detracts from the amazing blue green waters and the oasis the hotel has constructed when you are not at the beach. It felt very nice coming back and getting ready for dinner overlooking the sea and enjoying the pre fixe menu, or à la carte -your choice As an American who loves breakfast-this place has more options than most. 7.5 on that. I was satisfied.
Cons -
- Just a word of caution, the standard room size is on the small side. But there is plenty of public space to enjoy.
- The bed was just ok. Depending on your baggage situation the parking could be better.
- The Hotel was great but we had to drive everywhere, there was no good bus service to the other villages.

Beautiful hotel, the staff were great. We ate every evening in the Hotel and like the breakfast it was really good.
The Hotel was great but we had to drive everywhere, there was no good bus service to the other villages.
Wonderful view and location lovely staff and a great restaurant
The staff were really nice and helpful. We had the most beautiful view from our balcony and the sunset bar was perfect. The bartender was great and mixed good drinks and even brought snacks. The breakfast was really delicious and the same with the food in the restaurant. We had 5 lovely nights. We recommend the place and would like to come again ourselves.
Unfortunately, the aircon did not work satisfactorily, although the ceiling fan helped a little.
I liked the place a lot. The hostess was very friendly and helped me out a lot of times. She was very accessible as well. The fact they have their own restaurant and that you can have a full course menu for 25 euros (!) is amazing. I really enjoyed the food.Every day there are multiple times they have a small van that brings you to the beach, or brings you back from the beach. You get your own parking spot in the shade. Breakfast is very good. The views from the place (and your room) is amazing. Overall an amazing experience!
The only small downside is maybe the location, but I didn't mind this.
the location was amazing. loved the place! u see the sunset at the terrace with a apertivo, you can see the sunrise also, perfectdinner was amazing and price/value good
just one night there, next time longer, nothing to complain

It was a wonderful stay. So charming ! The view is amazing. The Hotel Crew very nice and the Room great. Thank you and see you again !By the way: The Restaurant fantastico !
Lovely service. Hotel clean with nice views. Would rate the dinner menu ok but not great .Nice breakfast lots of choices.
Somewhat Strange dinner menu but we were there very early in the season and it might have been because they were just opening up. Really lovely staff and very lovely location. Very accommodating
Beautiful location and gardens. wonderful sea view. Catered for gluten free very well. lovely menus for evening meals, again very adaptable for gf. All staff very helpful and friendly. So incredibly peaceful and quiet (this was in April) Really need a car here if you want to see more of the island. we did a lot of walking and found some extraordinary foot paths through mountainous terrain (not for the feint hearted). Then hired a car for roaming for 2 days
Could be quiet noisy in the room, hearing loo flushing and tv next door. Bed was exceptionally firm. There was no information of ideas or suggestions of excursions or things to do either in our room or at reception. Some maps were available, but you had to figure what to see etc. Having said that, apart from hiking or cycling around, I don’t think there were other attractions as such. This is just the place to go if you want to completely switch off and relax and are not interested in excursions.
Lovely place, peace with an exceptional view on the seaside from the hotel as well from the room. The staff was really welcome and we had a great dinner.
We had an outstanding experience at Sant'Andrea Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, beautiful view (we could admire the sunset from our balcony). Everything was well organized, staff is helpful and kind and at the end the value for money is excellent. You' re not getting only a room, but a lot of other facilities like a courtyard equipped with cozy furniture (sun-beds, comfy sofas/ armchairs) where you can relax (amazing view), children playground, free shuttle to the beach and back multiple times a day, covered parking, ferry discount, massage (paid extra) etc.The breakfast was excellent, we could have it on the terrace outside (sea view). The food in the restaurant was tasty and in terms of quality vs. price, one of the best we got on the island. Many thanks to the whole team!
Not a complaint, but a suggestion - maybe for the future you can consider to isolate better the rooms. We could hear sometimes noise from the other rooms (depending on the neighbors).
We had a great stay at Hotel Sant‘Andrea. The staff was so nice and friendly, the food was great and the view amazing. Everything was clean and designed with a lot of love. This place is really great and I recommend to have one (or more) drinks at their own sunset bar.
The price for the rooms is a little bit high. But Elba in total is more expensive, especcially during holiday season.
Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Quiet and well air conditioned.Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.
A little further from the beach than we anticipated.
The best place in whole Italy I have stayed. First hotel on Elba which was much better than in pictures. So nice and beautiful surroundings - first of all the picturesque sea view. Every single corner is decorated, in the garden you can find many places to rest - on sun beds, or hammocks, or in a private tent. Very nice and beautiful textile decorations, pillows, blankets, everything you need and even more on each step. New, fresh and clean. Hosts are helpful and polite. You really feel welcome. Delicious restaurant for dinner. Perfect breakfast on the terrace with a sea view. Best place to stay on Elba island.
Wanted to stay more :)
The hotel, terrace and bar are just perfect!! We will come back when visiting Elba.
The breakfast was nice! The only downside was that most of the options were sweet (not savory)
awesome location, beach and view, great staff
lack of double bed mattress and food isn't the best
The beauty of this place Is defined by the extremely friendly staff. Nothing else.
I could probably find a few nothings to note, but...all of those are insignificant, when compared to the good aspects.
