Notos Heights Hotel & Suites

Kind staff, fantastic location in a calm area of Malia.

The beds were comfortable and the poolarea was great. Martha at Reception was very accommodating with our special requests, Lazoros and staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

There were some deficiencies in the room and no luggage racks for luggage.

The best experience was with the staff! Everyone was so kind and friendly, and always keen to help! They even helped us preparing a cake and candles as a surprise for my father's birthday!! The room was super clean and cleaned every day! AND the food portions are huge! Especially the bolognese pasta and the Caesar salad! And the Notos burger! Must try!!

I liked everything! Just the WI-Fi was not super good, but also not needed! The hotel is also far away walking from the city, and with the hear it's difficult to walk 20min in the sun. But we could take a taxi to the beach from the hotel, which was all arranged by them!

Excellent and clean hotel... Very polite and helpful staff especially Martha she was amazing and controlled every aspect in the hotel.The breakfast beside the pool was very good ..The pool itself was in good size and very clean as well.There are a lot of parking places for cars or quads..

The breakfast was good as I mentioned but didn't changed for the whole of our stay (6 days)

Swimming pool area was beautiful and the view from it too! We loved the breakfast and location was perfect for trips and walks. Personel very nice and happy :) It was truly great experience!

When the hotel is fully booked there can be a problem with a parking spot or table at the breakfast but the staff will help you with it.

The property is out of the way you need a car however you can walk super pool

The food area needs more pick up and go food not meals this would perhaps stop guests getting take aways delivered plenty of scope for improvement the vision is there

Absolutely loved our stay at Notos Heights! All the staff were amazing throughout our stay, Sofia was super helpful whenever we needed anything, all the bar staff were friendly and nothing was too much (especially our personally designed cocktails by Costos). Room was a good size and very clean with daily visits for clean towels etc. Location was good, a quiet location with great views, about a 5 min walk to the Old Town which has some lovely local restaurants and a further 5 mins to the Main strip. We stayed an extra 3 nights we loved it that much! Thanks Notos!

Everything was great, if I had to mention anything it would simply be a suggestion to serve some lighter bites at the snack bar/restaurant (sandwiches, crisps etc), we were sometimes peckish but didn't want a larger meal.

Really lovely hotel with excellent facilities and views. Their food is incredible thanks to chef George and a really lovely staff who were very accommodating despite the fact we were a large group of younger guys.The rooms are very comfortable and the air con keeps it at a lovely temperature. Malia itself is a perfect location for all demographics, especially Notos Heights hotel as I feel that whoever goes will have an excellent time.

The only small problem with the hotel is the location. It is quite a walk from the beach and the strip but it is salvaged by some lovely restaurants and views along the way.

Nice rooms, the breakfast was good, not too many choices, but enough for a few nights stay. The hotel is in a nice and quiet location.Read online that Malia is a party town, but was surprised by the nice little old town and the best restaurants we found on Crete.

Very nice rooms with good air conditioning. Decor in good condition and well presented with plenty of space. Pool was a good size and clean. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all nationalities with plenty of choice and being constantly stocked up. Snacks through the day were reasonable, perhaps being able to have something light on an evening when staying onsite from the poolside bar would have been preferable. All staff were welcoming and polite all day every day. I would class this as more of an adults place to stay, couples or adult groups as there is not much for children to do, which was fine with my wife and I as we wanted a quiet relaxing holiday.

We know it was bed and breakfast only but like I said perhaps evening poolside snacks availability when staying onsite would be nice, rather than having to walk all the way into town.

The hotel was clean, spacious and had a lovely chilled atmosphere. Costas was great during our stay and was very accommodating.

We booked a studio room for 3 people but on arrival were given a double bed in one room and a single in a room off the bedoom. It was okay but not the three single beds we booked. The room was on the ground floor, next to the front entrance and overlooked the road.Although the road was quiet ,our balcony was not in a good position and yes there was a sea view, barely visible between the rows of telegraph wires.The toilet leaked badly throughout our stay and we used all the towels each day to mop up the water...Despite mentioning this numerous timed to the very friendly reception staff, the porblem was never fixed. However, if we had been given a better room with no leaks and a decent balcony wiith a proper sea view , then for cleanliness, friendly staff, comfy beds , no noise and value for money , I would still recommend these apartments

The location is nice, far enough away to be very quiet at night. The breakfast selection was good and the staff were very friendly.

The shower in the room soaked the entire bathroom, and the sink leaked. Our room was ground floor so was a little noisy in the evening with other guests coming and going.

not to far out of the old town which was my main place to eat and only another short walk into the main part.

I feel like the drink prices could be slightly cheaper to encourage guests to use the on-site bar, which would create a more lively atmosphere.

Our original room, was on ground floor and was full of insects, meaning mosquitoes spiders etc. Swapped to 1st floor on day 2...
