Don't need more for a 1 night stay. Good location. Helpful staff. Big room and bathroom. Pool area looked very welcoming. You can see a bit of the town square and the mountain from the balcony, albeit with a lot of electricity cables on the way (from 1st floor at least), great for people watching, but...
... loud at night, as it is right on the street. But that's just Greece in the summer, in touristy areas.I personally think it's a bit too expensive for what you get. Maybe if at least breakfast had been included in the price I wouldn't mention this.
Very convenient location with parking space, right next to the, quite small but cute, village center. The room was very comfortable and clean with a great mountain view.
The pool was ok, as long as the filters pull the water in, but whenever they stopped, it got kinda dirty as everything they pulled in, came back out and it got filled with floating cicadas, bees and various other drowned insects.?????Quick note: As it was summer time during our stay, there was a huge population of cicadas in the trees which as we found out, pee on you if you sit below them.?(Google it if you don't believe me, I just found out about it after being sprayed 3 times ?)But even so, all that would/should be expected I suppose in the country side..The thing we really did not like was this:❌ The air-conditioning was not working‼️To be fair, it was "working" as in blowing air?️, but instead of a cold breeze, that air was more like a fire-dragon's breath (noise included ?)It was not the normal device you see hanging from the wall, but more like a central air-conditioning system embedded/hidden behind a wall-grill near the ceiling, with its controller stuck on the wall. There also was a mechanism that cut off its power if you tried to open the balcony door.As it looked kinda old, we did wait for an hour or so, to see if it just took some time for it to drop the room temperature but it did absolutely nothing. After calling the room service, the funny thing is, they nearly instantly denied the issue at first, claiming there was no problem with it, as air was coming out of it. ?(While at the same time we were dripping sweat. ?)After insisting, we were told someone would come to check it in the afternoon, which also led nowhere as he could not do anything about it at that time.We tried asking for a room change, or maybe at least an electric fan to somehow mitigate the torture, but we were kindly told none of the two options was available.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, and an excellent breakfast on the beautiful terrace.
Great location and cute property. Sweet attendant.
The rooms were warm with the bathroom being like a sauna, and the beds were not very comfortable and limited with pillows.
This was our second time staying at byzantion.. The rooms ate smallish, but very comfortable. The pool is delightful, staff is very friendly, and breakfast is lovely. Location, in heart of town,.is perfect as well.
Wouldn't change a thing.

I booked the room for family members , they are very satisfied. Great location , renovated , very friendly nice staff .
An excellent base for exploring Mistras, with restaurants handy nearby for our evening meal. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Parking was a bit of a squeeze behind the hotel.
Poor!
The pool was dirty and was not being maintained, when we arrived the door to our room did not close and when we called the manager she insinuated that we had damaged it, the breakfast was sober and there was not enough.
the views, nice staff, common spaces, and clean.
