Hotel Theoxenia

Big, comfortable room with great bathroom and beautiful view. Close to a handful of good restaurants and a short drive to the Salt Museum. Very good breakfast.

Some of the hotel decor was a little dated but felt nicely retro.

Room was clean. Great view. Comfortable bed—slept well. Good location—walking paths and restaurants nearby. Only dislike was pool construction and lawn mowing started at 7 am—that’s too early.

Built in 1960 and hasn’t been upgraded since.

Old, tired and outdated facilities. Dark and dingy. Nothing at all like the photos.

Nice location next to the lagoon and next to the marine. There is a great all-day restaurant around the corner ("Alatiera") with great brunch and drinks later at night.

The facilities are very old and desperately need renovation. Our room did not have central heating - we had to use the air conditioning unit to heat the room, a noisy affair. The bathroom was fairly small and cold. The general appearance of the hotel told a story of neglect. It's probably very hard to maintain a big hotel year-round in a place with limited touristic appeal.

Nice location over looking the ocean. staff were friendly, and breakfast food had good selection pretty good quality.

Very, very dated decor. Felt like a I went back to the 1970’s. It was clean. The mattress’s were terrible.
