    • I'm afraid the only positive thing about this hotel was the area around it. Plenty of well known eatery's and Supermarkets. Plenty of suitable places to walk the Dog in complete safety.

    Cons -

    • We had booked a room for a person with disabilities and as soon as we arrived they told us that it is not a hotel for such cases, even though it is stated on their website and we had also sent them a written message. The staff was very rude and the manager was mocking and making fun of us. He told us if we wanted to go to the hotel next door that they were collaborating with, but we would have to pay more money. Unprofessional behavior, the hotel has very bad rooms, a last-class hotel.
    • The main gripe was that each of the stair nosing's on the main staircase was either damaged, bent or sticking up. My husband was a Health and Safety Manager before he retired and could not believe his eyes as we approached them. Surely this is very dangerous and should be dealt with ASAP. There is no lift in the building so they decided to put us on the 2nd floor despite us telling the hotel I was disabled at the time of booking. The room was so small that you needed a traffic light system to pass each other by the bed. The Dog had the best Idea and stayed well out of the way under the bed and only came out for the W word, food and water. The decoration was very tired. One of the bedside tables was missing leaving just unplugged holes in the wall. The bed itself was quite comfortable but we certainly don't think it would stand up to the rigours of a young family. The bathroom was tiny. It reminded us of a miniature version of a ships cabin bathroom but again very dated. The toilet seat was broken and had a mind of its own. If you left it up after a while it would close with a loud bang, like 3am in the morning!!! which of course startled our Westie who then proceeded to warn the hotel of impending doom. We think the Hotel was once a nice hotel, back in the day when rooms were smaller and a bit sparce on furniture but this Hotel is no longer in that age and has been neglected by time and the Hotel owners. There is a urgent need of a lot of restoration work if this hotel wants to survive the modern world.
    • Really run down place far from anything.

Air conditioning wires hanging out of the wall, no bedside table. I sent a message to the hotel, no reply. No lift

    Handy for the motorway

Very basic, but okay for somewhere just to sleep.

It was necessary to move bed to get into bathroom pod. Old mattresses and rubbish in surrounding grounds. A few of the rooms obviously being used long term as they had personal washing and trainers hanging out of window.

    Keep away

The receptionist wasn't friendly. Checked us into a dirty room with blood on the sheets. Didn't ask for passports on check in was told there was a restaurant over the other hotel and there wasn't. Second room also very dirty. And full of people inside and out taking drugs absolute worst hotel.

Disgusting, dirty bedding left on the bed please avoid

The hotel is dirty & smells bad. The bed was dirty, it had already been slept in the sheets were crumpled & there were hairs in the bed & on top of it ….. we stayed in the room long enough to book somewhere else to stay

clean, comfortable and for me on a one night stop, well located. Breakfast was adequate, with a good selection of jams and cold meats, juice and coffee. There was ample parking space.

Nothing, it’s good for a one night stopover and is very well priced.

    6IlariaPosted on: 8-11-2022

Breakfast was pretty good. It can be had in the hotel paying an overprice but if you want the buffet you need to pay 9€ each person (even if everywhere it is written 4.90€ each; this option is not buffet I think).

The room (and in particular the bathroom) was very small and a bit dirty. We were 2, but we had only one pillow on the bed and only one towel. The shower drain was clean but previously spotted by blood I think.

    2AndreaPosted on: 7-7-2022

    Dirty rooms

They wanted to provide us 2 double bed rooms instead of the booked 2 tripple bed rooms. Dirty rooms.

    Shocking lack of hygiene.

The toilet hadn't been cleaned. The WiFi was inaccessible and the staff did not know how to help.

    6JennyPosted on: 2-18-2022

It was a reasonable B&B, and the staff from the reception was very helpful, and a easy location for me to reach the place where l wanted to go.

    Nothing to complain.

Sound proofing good and location good .Mattress fine.

The walls were stained, one of the light shades was missing, the room needed a good clean.Although freshly laundered the sheet was stained.Breakfast was poor.

When I eventually found someone they were extremely helpful

Arrived 11 30 pm no staff available to give me my room. I eventually managed to contact the night porter in the linked hotel next door who gave me an upgrade.
