Very good value and clean. Good parking. Easy to find and very well situated for shops etc and food.

The room was cold although it was a freezing night. The room warmed up after sometime to a reasonable temperature. Breakfast finished by 10am

staff were friendly and the location suited me well. The room was clean and comfortable and I found it a reasonable stay.

Gated parking, staff available all night, room easy to get to, tv in good location, clean, shutters that block all light, quiet location.

The sinks were somewhat blocked so water took a bit of time to drain. Card for door was a little fiddly but managed.

The room was nice and clean.

The reception desk was not open on our arrival and we had to wait several minutes before someone appeared. Not what you want after a long journey. Also the breakfast was not up to standard as it has been on previous stays and definitely not value for money. Also tea and coffee making facilities in the room should now be standard in all hotel rooms, come on is it not time that the Balladins introduced this facility into it's rooms?

The location was good for me.

Pretty sure this was used as a brothel. it was dark, dingy and smelly. The noises throughout the night definitely indicated there was some business going on. Rude staff on reception (although I would be too working in the freezing cold, so nothing personal) the room felt dirty and just not safe.

No hot water in the morning. Could not shower or wash. Management could not reimburse

the staff had very poor English, as well I asked for a downstairs room as my mother is in a wheelchair. It took a while till the room got sorted and as well the room was very small

Clean, basic hotel in useful location.

Room small and very hot. No air conditioning, a ceiling fan would have been useful. Some maintenance to bathroom could be done.

Nice and clean hotel, safe parking. Reception was helpful and open 24/7.

Bad experience

Booked two rooms, but only one was available in spite of confirmation emails confirming our reservation for two rooms. Rest of the hotel was fully booked. After a lot of confusion and 1 hour wait at check in the issue was resolved. Very disappointing after a long drive. In the end one of the two rooms was ok, the other smelled of smoke and was rather poor. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all

Very small room and bathroom. Even the corridors are so narrow that I could not get through with my luggage because of a cleaning cart standing there for an hour without any staff in sight!? Although presented as a calm hotel it is located right next to a highway!Audio isolation is poor. A lot of noise came from the cleaning activities in other rooms, at 8 already. I like to sleep a bit late, but that was not possible.I don't like to be forced to leave my mail address in order to get wifi. That should always come for free, these days, even without password.

The bed was fine, the room acceptabele and clean but in the night there was a lot of noise of other quests .

The restaurant was closed. That was not to see by the booking. And there was none probibality to drink , for example a cup of tea.

This was booked as a very late stop over on my travel down to the Charente department, as the weather hadn't started to turn and it had alreadybeen a long day. The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was clean and tidy and although small it was comfortable with a good pressure shower which is always a bonus.Due to COVID19 restrictions breakfast was ordered at check in and then collected from reception in the morning. To be fair it was excellent and the Cafe Au Lait was bang on!

Nothing note worthy other than the fact the design of the hotel made it great for echoes, you could hear noise from downstairs and along the corridor's which was a bit of a pain when it came to going to sleep.

No separate soap for sink. Had to use soap in shower.no tea making facilities.very small tv.
