About

Set amid cypress trees and olive groves, in the fishing village of Loggos, Glyfada Beach offers traditional villas with panoramic Ionian Sea views. It includes 2 swimming pools and a seaside tavern. Each with a furnished balcony, Glyfada Beach Villas feature stone-paved floors and wooden ceilings. They include a kitchenette, a living area with sofa and a private bathroom. Air conditioning is available upon request. The 2 salt-water pools are surrounded by stone-paved sun terraces, while one features a hot tub. Close to one of the pools, guests can find a tennis court shaded by cypress trees. Glyfada Beach also has a small museum exhibiting local artifacts. Featuring a large sea-view terrace, the on-site tavern serves traditional specialties prepared with local ingredients. Soft drinks, coffees and ice creams can be enjoyed at the poolside bar. Within a short stroll, guests will reach the beaches of Monodendri and Glyfada. A minibus to Loggos or Lakka departs in the evening once per week from the property and its use is subject to extra charges. Wi-Fi access and private on-site parking are provided free of charge.

Pros +

  • The location and views were wonderful, also nice terras and beaches. Friendly staff and very nice infinity pool.
  • What a great find Glyfada beach was. Off the beaten track slightly but you can walk to Loggos in 15 mins down the trail. Bigger than we expected but not crowded. So many places to chill (hide) lots of areas beach/pool x 2 beach next door. Sun loungers on the beach. The views were among the best we’ve ever been lucky enough to stay at xx
  • Absolutely gorgeous location. Staff are amazing. Beach and pool amazing, can walk to Loggos and easy taxi to Lakka. 10/10

Cons -

  • They were closing up the season, we were there till the last day so the bar was closed at 7pm, No restaurants in the evening and the breakfast got less every day. We should of been informed upfront. They did want to drive us to the nearest town for restaurants but that was not what we expected.
  • Nothing really. It’s hilly so take that into consideration if you’re not a lover of being out of breath lol but it wouldn’t put us off returning. We loved the owners and staff and the way they look after their ‘Father’ every day was heartwarming.
  • We found the location too isolated for ourselves and further out than we expected. To get out of the complex it is very steep and then a walk down which would be too difficult in the dark as no street lights. Limited taxis on the island so made it more difficult getting around. They do a shuttle service for an extra charge on certain nights when restaurant not open, be better if this was every night. No shops close by and advisable to have car or scooter. Some basic provisions in room be great- tea/coffee/milk. Be great to have a little shop on site.

Beautiful setting, quirky apartment with mezzanine level. Friendly staff, very warm welcome from George who went out of his way to help us. Pool over looking sea gorgeous. Very chilled and quiet for a relaxing stay.

The place is amazing, two pools and a beautiful private beach with hotel sunbeds. The staff and service were impeccable, Doreen (owner) was so lovely, proactive and provided us with everything we needed without us even asking. We would stay again, it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Thank you so much glyfada team!!!!

This is a fantastic place. Not only the location - with two great beaches - and actual buildings, but especially the people. Doreen, the owner and manager, is truly invested in the place and clearly cares deeply about the experience of her guests. It is the opposite of a soulless commercial enterprise - it is still a personal project which, after 20 years Doreen said "was still not finished" - a testament to her ongoing passion. Thoroughly recommend Glyfada.

I'd love a bit more variety for breakfast.

Service and Stuff were great! The pool was amazing too!

The roads in the facility were a bit hard to walk with that summer heatwave... We had to call for the service mini car to pick us up.

Excellent resort with cozy two-floor villas. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly (we loved Doreen!) and the beaches and pools were really cool. One can spend all of his stay in Paxos there. I highly recommend the place.

Not suitable for persons with disability impairment, because of its many slopes.

Our host Doreen was very helpful and pleasant; her gardens well tended; the accommodation spotless clean; the pools well maintained.

Lovely Location very pretty with lovely beach. Is on a steep incline therefore any one with walking difficulties would find this a challenge. Friendly staff. Doreen was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.Food was good and reasonably priced. The 1 bed villa we stayed it was spotlessly clean, so pretty. Wish we stayed longer!

Was on a steep incline, howevr this will not put me off coming back. Loved everything.

Perfect location, resort could not be any more perfect, other guests were really lovely, hosts could not have been more helpful, friendly helpful staff, food available if you didn’t want to leave the resort.

10SarahPosted on: 7-12-2022

Our holiday to Glyfada Beach Villas in July 2022 was absolutely incredible - the location, the facilities, the accommodation and the staff - all amazing. Doreen and Spiros, thank you for being so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble , you are perfect hosts!!

That we had to leave it!!?(Also no whiskey as that’s my other half’s favourite after dinner tipple - but that is only a very minor thing, he found plenty of other things to drink!) ?

7MichaelPosted on: 7-3-2022

great location. Good service

Poor Air Conditioning. Property did not offer food and drink every day. On some days bar shut at 17:00.

10GlynPosted on: 6-22-2022

What an amazing place. Lovely stone villas built in landscaped olive groves on a hillside overlooking a beautiful bay with bleached white pebbles and a crystal clear sea. Free sun beds on the beach and drinks service from their own beach bar/taverna which also served an inclusive buffet breakfast and delicious reasonably priced lunches. There is also a teverna next to the amazing pool for their evening meals.A lot of love has gone into creating this amazing resort. Doreen is is amazingly attentive and does everything to make sure your stay is trouble free and relaxing. The staff are also lovely and friendly. There are multiple areas to relax - the beach, the pool, a shaded decked area with sunbeds behind the beach and even your own room balcony. There is also a pool for water polo, a table tennis table, a tennis court and a pool table for the more active.

There was nothing for us to dislike but Doreen does warn that the villas are built on a hillside going down to the bay so the pathways are a little steep and may not be to everyones liking.

Glyfada Beach Villas is situated above one of the most beautiful coves on Paxos. On top of this there is a great pool which looks out onto the cove. The villas are beautifully appointed and the owners and staff go out of their way to help. It's really luxury accommodation at an affordable price.

10GeorgePosted on: 9-22-2021

Incredible place!! Villa was very comfortable and super clean, exactly how has been described. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered everything we needed to start our day. The location and the views were outstanding. And extra bonus the two beaches, both of them are fabulous with different characteristics!! Can't wait to go back soon!

10AnastasiaPosted on: 8-28-2021

It is truly a hidden gem on the island, we’ve never been on Paxos before and we’re definitely coming back!!! Host Doreen is a very hospitable and thoughtful woman, and the whole team is very friendly. When necessary we felt private, when needed we we had all the help and attention.
