Hotel am Rüssel

Location

No tea or coffee in the room. No fridge or microwave.

Easy free parking. Large, relatively quiet room.

No mini fridge in the room

Lots of free parking, gas station and 24 hour McDonald’s all together. The hotel itself is no frills but great price for what you get. Plenty of room in a family room with a pull out sofa for parents and twin 6 year olds. Had the modern convenience of being able to charge mobile phones next to beds. Also was clean.

Nothing, especially for the price.

Easy access, McDonald's across the parking lot, comfortable beds.

Sound from some machinery in the building all night

The practicality of a hotel close to the highway, with very good accessibilities, plenty of parking places (including EV charging places), well organized check-in (including late check-in in the gas station), rooms was spacious, comfortable and clean. The gummy bears left in each pillow were appreciated.

Nothing special. The breakfast options were not the best, but there is always McDonald's 24/7 open.

Clean and quiet. Very comfy mattress and pillows.

Nice rooms, newly refurbished. Location next to Autobahn. For what it is, this is very good and convenient.

This hotel was great! It was the perfect place to stop over to break our long journey up. It was very clean, great family room and very modern with new and well maintained facilities including a really nice bathroom. Easy free parking, easy check in and out and very comfortable too.

The only thing that would have made it perfect was if they had coffee and tea facilities in the room diner could have had a drink at night and morning.

Great location.

Double room booked, but only a single bed cover and one towel were in the room. Reception was closed when we noticed.

Very convenient location for passer-through, clean and comfortable room, parking right in front several food options nearby.

Near the highway , clean, modern

Next to the motorway, spacious comfortable room.

Proximity to highway is a killer. I was looking for a pitstop which is family friendly and this property ticks those boxes. There are good options to eat out with their own restaurant and also macdonals cafe in the vicinity. There are gas stations and electric charging points too.

We chose to buy breakfast at the property and the breakfast options were quite disappointing. I hope they increase the options at the buffet. Electric charging points use CCS type and not type 2. Be aware.

It is a great stop on the drive through Germany. Reception was very friendly, the room was clean and exceptionally quiet. Safe and free parking, and close to Kassel.

Soundproof, comfortable, convenient

Clean, modern, close to the highway

The hotel is in the middle of highways, a gas station and a parking lot. Nothing to look at. BUT it is exactly perfect for comfy and quiet overnight stay on your travels.Nice staff, clean rooms and great insulation. Such silent rooms are really hard to find.Restaurant and a playground are great bonus.
