ibis budget Pau Lescar

The front desk staff was wonderful. I did not get the young mans name that was at the desk that spoke great English. He had short dark hair. There was an issue with our bathroom light fixture and he had it fixed by the time that we returned from dinner. I love the IBIS hotel chain. The rooms are always clean and have an interesting feature. I wish that we had booked this hotel for the 2 nights that we were in Pau for the Tour De France. The breakfast was included and was just the perfect touch. I loved the workout signs that were around the property. I 100% would recommend staying here. There is free parking and the rooms are quite. Due to the location of the hotel there is also no street noise that we heard.

Do not judge a book by its cover. The outside of the hotel made me question my choice but WOW was I wrong as soon as I stepped foot in the hotel.

Easy to navigate to from the motorway. As I was a late arrival, the check in was all automated and very easy. All very clean too.

The food/drink machines only took cash. No options for card payments.

Great hotel, convenient for the trip fro the UK to Spain via Pau. Very easy to locate, great parking, friendly staff and very clean. Good, free wifi. Lovely continental breakfast. Quiet location and not disturbances during the stay.

For the price point, it was perfect. I can't really see any need for improvement.

Everything you would expect from a budget motel, room was clean. Beds were a little hard and not enough pillows but I'm not complaining as it is a place to rest after a long drive.

We had trouble getting into Hôtel as no staff.Having the 2 rooms together both with balconies made a Hugh difference to us.

The hotel was ideal for me as in a quiet location and there was parking for my motorbike.As I was travelling and only staying for 1 night it was perfect.I took the option to have breakfast and it was very good.

Stayed here before, and it was excellent. Same again. Great staff, free parking, lovely breakfast.

Does what it says on the tin

I have stayed many times en route to my home in Spain,never had a problem before.

I woke in the night iching all over and covered in bites from in the bed. I was very tired after a long drive with a long drive next day. I could not sleep in the bed. Covered the pillow and edge of duvet with a towel. I slept on top of duvet with clothes on to keep warm. I told the chap on reception in the morning,he made a note of the room 217. I am annoyed at paying for such a torturous night and think I should have had a refund.

Perfect location for a stopover, no frill but very adequate, as expected.

A bit far from things

This hotel is practically automated. You receive a code after payment that will open doors including that of your room. Clean, efficient, and simple.

The sink was leaking: each time you turned on the tap, water leaked out of the bottom pipes. Just to wipe up the water, used two towels. No one to call to mention the problem when I first entered the room. I would have preferred to change the room. Blood stains on the duvet.

Staff and hotel great. Location good. Rooms warm. . Breakfast first class.
