Mercure Lenzburg Krone

I got a room upgrade for free and the room was really clean and comfortable, with enough space and nice bathroom. The hotel is centrally located in the town of Lenzburg and has a private parking; although I was able to park for free on the street, because I arrived on Saturday evening. The staff was friendly and helpful, both in person and by phone.

Perfect hotel if you plan to go visit friends, quiet old-town spot near the castle.Very clean rooms, modern furniture, great cosy balcony and super convenient sockets everywhere.The breakfast was outstanding, fresh and varied, a real highlight of the stay and highly recommended.

The keys are large and a bit old-school (no card), maybe not ideal for pockets. But this is a minor inconvenience.

Very well located in the centre of Lenzburg, excellent breakfast with lots of choice, friendly, helpful staff.

Not much space in the room round the (admittedly large) bed. Nowhere really comfortable to sit.

Nothing that sticks out

The bedding was not to my liking, very uncomfortable pillow and cover far too hot, had to take out duvet and slept with just the sheet. Decor very anodine

Food was delicious, great breakfast! Location is super central, comfortable spacious free parking. Rooms have small, but cozy balcony.

Breakfast was good. Good selection of breakfast items. Staff were very friendly and cleanliness was excellent. Thank you very much.

Provision of a kettle & some tea bags and coffee as a daily complimentary item would have been appreciated.

Disappointing

Old, no AC in the single room and very small room.

Very small room. No air conditioning (outside 30+ degrees C), inside very very hot as well as humid.Very old hotel, but at least as clean as possible.

The beds were incredibly comfortable. I could have slept all day long in it.Very nice bathroom, even though I'd prefer a shower than a bath tub.It was a nice surprise to have all drinks and snacks in the mini-bar offered by the hotel.The breakfast was various and delicious.It was perfectly located for us as we spent the night with some friends at the Met-Bar (7 minutes by feet from the hotel).

It was quite pricey for just one night and the breakfast was served only until 10.00. Until 11.00 would have been way better for us, especially on a Sunday morning.

Right in the city center next to a bus stop

If you are eating without gluten and lactose like me, there is not much you can eat at breakfast

Indeed, a Swiss quality of both the product and the service. NOTE: I found understanding for a reasonable and documented small deley at the check out, and immediate support for whatever I need extra.Definitely, my favorite accommodation when returning to Lenzburg.

Breakfast was good ,lots of choice. Good location .Friendly and polite staff. Upgraded my room which was good of them.

Checked out at 4am but took a while to find somebody to open the doors to let me out.

small rooms, very small bed

The hotel has a very nice appearance. I reserved 2 rooms. The room in the 300 building was much nicer that the other room in the main building. I loved that our 300 building room had an AC unit, loved the free beverages and our view of the castle was so great. Breakfast was outstanding with so many good choices.

Our other room in the main building did not have AC. The view was basically just the sky. We couldn't get the room cooled down well at night.

Polite staff. Breakfast was OK.

No airconditioning, and they claim this is a 4 star hotel! In a heatwave this was no joke. They gave me a small fan which took 2 hours to cool the room down, meaning I got to sleep late. Plus, no ventilation as opening the window or door meant hot air would re-enter the room. Decor was old in the room, too. This hotel is very overpriced.
