Strong cooking smell in room, stuffy humid rooms without windows

Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent—freshly prepared on request and absolutely delicious. It really set the tone for the day.Location: Perfectly situated, just steps away from lively streets filled with great restaurants and cafes. Very convenient for exploring the area.Room: The room was spotless and well-maintained. It was cleaned twice daily during our short stay, which made it feel extra comfortable and welcoming.

Honestly, I liked everything! Any minor issues that came up were resolved immediately by the staff in a very polite and friendly manner. Their responsiveness really stood out.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking anywhere in Valetta.

Our room was really small

Historic building, outstanding decor.

Our room (excellent condition) wasn’t really suitable for people our age. The stairway lights inside the room were not very bright resulting in me taking quite a tumble.

Great service, very polite professional and helpful staff. All of them, from the i chance to enjoy the facilities after the checkout, which is definitely a big plus! The limited number of guests allowed you to enjoy the place and the quiet environment. To be repeated! The place is to be recommended,in my opinion.

Overall, the room could have been better. Don't get me wrong:It has everything and it is clean, but... It's not worth €270 a night. It's medium size, not a single coat hanger, a part inside the wardrobe, not a chair. The room lacks of natural light, in my opinion. We didn't know we would have get a bath instead of a shower (I think the client should have been asked to give a preference, at least).The same bath did not work and flooded the whole bathroom and room. But this is not a big deal, issues can happen and the staff helped out. I think that the room isn't worth the money. Pretty average, compare to the rest of the hotel.

A lovely traditional Maltese palazzo in the heart of Valletta old town.The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are amazing.Lovely breakfast cooked to order as well as a continental buffet.If returning to Malta I would definitely stay here.

The staff is truly wonderful and professional, and they all make a great effort to provide the best possible service. The breakfast is abundant and diverse. The hotel is in a beautiful old historic building, which adds charm but also some drawbacks. Most rooms have very little light, and the windows mostly face the interior. The bed and pillow are very comfortable, but the bathroom could use some improvements, as our room only had a bathtub, and water constantly leaked onto the bathroom floor. Although very nice, the room lacked a desk and there was no kettle.

Nice and quiet location but still close to all attractions.

The rooftop pool was being refurbed at the time of our stay but the spa more than made up for this.

Absolutely beautiful small boutique hotel ran by fabulous staff in a central location of Valletta. I simply can’t rate this hotel high enough. My sons and I loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nothing - it was perfect

From start to finish this hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The staff were all so lovely and friendly, couldn't ask for better service. Location is perfect for exploring Valletta which is a lovely city. Spa was great as could book exclusively for yourselves for an hour each day. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

Feel bad writing this as the hotel and service from the staff was amazing but the only thing I'd change would be the shower over the bath as you had to hold it whilst showering. Also no door on the bathroom, just a glass panel and curtain. Wouldn't stop me staying at the hotel again and would still give 10 stars!

The hotel staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond in their service. The décor and room was luxurious. They booked me the spa out on my checkout day, which i could use all to myself and I was able to shower and get ready for flying. The spa is lush and the pool on the terrace was lovely.

Without exaggeration, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The size of the room was impressive, with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on and every corner of the property was incredibly clean.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. They organised a couples massage for myself and my partner where we then got the facilities all to ourselves for an extra hour. Best indoor heated pool and steam room ever!10/10 and would definitely recommend as you will not be let down and will stay at this hotel again in the future, guaranteed.

Honestly can't find a single thing to complain about.

Everything! all the staff were exceptional! The building is quaint, well renovated, and in the right location.

There was some noise between floors - especially someone stomping around in high heels above us at 2 in the morning.
