Pros +
- Good location, great staff, super roof deck area.
- Location and proximity to things
- Room was on a major pubic walking area. Nearby bar music and people talking, in my 2nd floor roonm, could be heard after midnight on Friday and Saturday. Still,a GREAT place to stay.
Cons -
- Needed better sound proof windows. Very noisy from the street. Used the AC since windows needed to be closed. No lobby.
- We were there for a quick over night so worked fine but it is not a place for a long stay. No place for two to sit down.
- Hotel we GREAT! Noisy area.

Location and proximity to things

Hotel we GREAT! Noisy area.
Large room with all the facilities. Bathrobe, hair dryer, toiletries, coffee machine, tea, water and I really liked the complimentary “honey ring” cookies. Amazing location, walking distance to all the sights. Cool breakfast. The view from terrace on the 5th floor is excellent.
Location was amazing! In the middle of the action!
Noisy at night, bring earplugs
Fantastic location, very nice room and smashing staff. Breakfast was offsite a 5 minute walk away and was fab! Wonderful area, walking distance for just about everything!
Coming home
Overall all staffs were nice and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic - awesome. We loved them.Everything except the facility was no traffic - the window was broken and was cold at night.
The window was broken and we reported at the first day. It was cold at night when it rains.
Breakfast was great and the central location made it easy to go to various sites in Valletta.
The room was small, dark (overlooked machinery and concrete), I had to request a blow dryer, an extra pillow took 1 day to arrive and after a couple of requests, we finally received robes on day 3. For the price we paid, we had hoped for a nicer accommodation.
Excellent location in the heart of Valetta; copious breakfast served by helpful and friendly staff in nearby location; clean room and comfortable bed. Special welcoming touch with cookies and bottled water. Much appreciated ?
Lack of communication from hotel regarding music above our room; we had booked an early tour and loud music prevented us from getting some needed sleep before an early morning departure; Avoid fourth floor on weekends unless you want to party, especially Room 401 or bring effective earplugs. Rooms need to be more sound proofed. Lighting is very poor in very small bathroom as well as by the mirror in the room. I brought it up to the reception but nothing was done. Phone communication from room to reception didn't work.
Great location, air conditioning
Room picutres are taken when they were new, lots of small repairs, TV remote was dead, bathroom had a smell, bedsheets were old, lots of noise to midnight, then lots of noise early in the morning, also the corridor wasnt sound proof. Bit overpriced for the quality.
Excellent staff, clean room, great location.
Noise from construction nearby. Limited quantity of soap and shampoo.
Very helpful staff
Noisy guests in room next door disturbed my sleep at 3 am
The location was perfect and very close to all landmarks and restaurants/bars in Valletta. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was a few minutes walk away from the hotel and was fine. The room was cleaned every day and coffee and tea provided.
I would like to see fresh water provided each day and not just the first day. Shampoo in the shower would be helpful.
Good location, easy check in,Lovely room on 4th floor
Mattress and pillows awful, please change them as it lets you down
The room was spacious, the balcony overlooking the street was great. I also liked the Maltese sweets upon arrival and the slippers were handy on the cool floor. The hotel is very central and as such it is very noisy around the building at night but the windows and shutters keep out a good bit of noise. Staff in the breakfast location were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast wasn't half as bad as some people commented before. It is a small buffet and you get to choose another cooked breakfast dish. The coffee was quite tasty.
The room is modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right near loads of restaurants.
It was a bit noisy at night but to be expected because of where it is. It would have been nice if they replaced the water in the room after the first night.
Very convenient location, close to central squares and many attractions, many excellent restaurants nearby. The room is comfortable, quite spacious, with good lighting. There is almost everything you need. Friendly staff. Good internet.
The check-in was a huge letdown. I had a long flight and tried to book an early check-in (which is quite expensive at this hotel, by the way). It turned out it was unavailable because the room was only available that morning. But there were 5 hours between the standard check-in and check-out times! The receptionist said they would try to get the room ready earlier, but they barely managed to do it in 5 hours. I had to walk around the hotel very tired and wait for an opportunity to sleep. A very strange idea of hospitality. There is practically no waiting area in the hotel. There is a terrace on the 5th floor with a nice view, but all the chairs there were dirty. The only shared toilet had no door. On the other days of my stay at the hotel, when I returned to my room around 5-6 pm, the room was still not cleaned, and the cleaning lady only showed up later, which created additional inconveniences.Another big disappointment was the breakfast. The fact that breakfast was in another building did not seem like a problem to me at first. But then it turned out that this breakfast is terrible. Almost no choice of dishes, what I tried (sausage and vegetables), everything was of very poor quality. Coffee and the main course had to be ordered from the waiter. I waited for half an hour for the waiter to take the order, then another half an hour for the food to be served. Coffee and eggs were brought only after I started to complain. Everything was very cold. I did not go to breakfast again, although it was paid for each day.Another inconvenient thing is that the reception does not work at night. One night all the electricity in my room went out, the reception phone did not answer, I went downstairs, I was lucky to find the administrator already leaving. I don’t know what I would have done if it had happened 5 minutes later.About the room’s equipment, it is inconvenient that there is not a single socket in which you could plug a hair dryer, opposite the mirror.
The breakfast had a nice variety of sweet and savoury options. The room was quite spatious and comfortable. Even though the hotel is located in a noisy street, the rooms were very quiet during the night.
The breakfast system - even though the distance was really short - was not very convenient. Moreover, the shower was a little uncomfortable, because there is not a shower phone holder, which is not very practical, especially for women.
Location.
We booked a room at back of hotel due to noise from front rooms. We booked room via your company in plenty of time regarding departure date. On arrival given a room at front of hotel. We immediately raised this issue with reception but was told no other rooms available. This room also directly next to adjoining building do renovation works as early as 6am in morning effecting our sleep. Really not happy with this .second trip we booked with Room.com and this one terrible. Breakfast also poor quality. Only used 3 times out of 5 due to cold food. Warm coffee. Please sort out what went wrong with our booking. As we would not have booked a room at front of hotel. As noise from front rooms was shown on trip advisor etc. We paid extra for a room we did not get. Me Desmond Smith
It’s a very nice hotel however, extremely noisy at night! We didn’t realise that it was in the centre of the bar area, so possibly our mistake!
