It¿s a beautiful hotel, but the staff goes above and beyond.

Rooms are a little small, but having the balcony definitely makes up for it.

The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, I had a nice chat with them, they helped me with everything :) They even surprised me with a birthday treat, which absolutely made my day! Thank you so much!Also the spa was really nice: a pool with nice temperature water, steam room, salt room - I had a really good time there.I can also recommend the hair saloon, without appointment they did a blowdry in excellent quality.If ever going to Malta again, I'll definitely stay at the Phoenicia.

The concistency of the qualified service, cleaning, hospitality of the staff, quick solution for every need, very well prepared for every possible need, awesome SPA, the Restaurant Contessa is the best in all Valetta

Bathtub/no stand-in shower, no eating venues between 11am & noon except in-room dining

People were wonderful. Courtyard lobby terrific. Great afternoon tea incl gluten-free items. Gorgeous gardens.

For me, comfort is correlated with rug in the bedroom. This non-descripti scrap of rug was just enough to accommodate morning exercises. The decor cd have popped with more and better rug. (Sorry to be picky.)

room was beautiful ,beds were so comfortable .we received complementary a bottle of bubbly and 10 euro voucher to used at the Spa and some sweet treats such a lovely touch . we didn't have breakfast as we normally do not at home but did have food at the pool bar which was of a high standard. The staff were all so helpful and service was exceptional . I did avail of the spa I had a massage which was divine. I most certainly will run to this hotel whenever I return to Valetta

The hotel felt at times like a home for aged British tourists. I suspect they made up 70-80 percent of the clientele. Perfectly decent people but the age skew made things decidedly odd.

Fantastic location infront of the gates and along the bastion walls. Small rooms but very well maintained. Pool is wonderful located along city walls with a great view and very attentive pool staff.

the room are modern and full of Italian finesse. This bed and mattress are unfrgetable for a well deserved sleep.

the hotel is a pricey for what it offers but it is one of the best hotels of the world.

The gym, the spa, the Beef Bar, the staff, the gardens, Contessa.

Pillows were too thick and large but they brought up other ones for me

Excellent Location, right in the heart of Valletta. Friendly and professional staff.

The rooms were more basic than expected vis-a-vis the price per room. So value for money can be better.

We paid 1 150 euro for 1 night. The room was small, the bed was double, not comfortable. Pillows also not comfortable. TV was the size of the computer screen.

Beautiful gardens, incredible pool, and fantastic lobby! Literally one of the most unique and beautiful pools I’ve ever had the pleasure of swimming in. Staff did an excellent job of going above and beyond to take care of everyone too. Not just our group - it was nice to hear them caring for the other guests as well.

all good...stylish but in a modern way...we were given a deluxe room with small balcony and goof view (yacht marina)

walk-in shower would have been nice. the surround area/s - car park etc could be improved

Given how expensive it is, the rooms are looking a bit tired and could do with an upgrade
