Melior Boutique Hotel

The check in at Melior hotel was very smooth. The staff was always helpful. The room was very spacious and the location was very central in Valetta. and the entrance is inside the starbucks which was appreciated by our daughter.Definitely recommended!

The only problem might be that it is on a pedestrian only street and someone elder with a lot of luggage might find it a little difficult to approach.

I paid for the breakfast but I didn’t eat cus I left early at 7:30, so it should start at 6And also there’s no place to eat there anyway so they will send you to cafe someplace near as what they told me

The information on directions to the hotel was not clear. The directions should state that the hotel entrance is located in the Starbucks.

Hard to locate the access to the hotel. Access through a Starbucks coffee shop. Two story room. Black steel stairs to loft bed room. Long way to bathroom in the night. Insufficient kitchen.

Hotel above a Starbucks. Great location, in the middle of everything you must see in Valetta. Good size bedrooms and I had a see view!

Clean. Located inside starbucks. Enter starbucks all the way inside to the register area and u will see a desk and elevator.

The staff was just great. Breakfast was lovely and was provided by Starbucks on the first floor of the hotel. The location in Valletta was just perfect.

The description should include that you actually enter the hotel by walking through the Starbucks to find the concierge and elevator.

A Starbucks for a lobby? It was awesome. This hotel was a bastion of modern comfort in an ancient fortress city. Steps away from everything in Valletta and great food once you got away from the main thoroughfare. Easy to get to buses and taxis and very walkable. Very secure (almost too many codes to navigate) and once inside quiet and restful with nice toiletries and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful.

It was very loud in the morning. When people started leaving in the morning I could hear every door closing and people talking on the hallway.

The location is greatThe shower area needs attention to address either mould or ugly grouting which concerns me using the shower. Again expensive option for what the facility offers

The lack of communication with a reception or concierge is frustrating. I sent a WhatsApp on my first day and received no response so accepted that there was no way of requesting any support. It is an expensive option for what it offers.

Difficult to find

Location was great.

Finding it was difficult. We didn’t understand that we had to go into Starbucks for entry. Also didn’t like that there was just a standup desk nothing else but the elevator to go up

I liked the hotel. First, the entrance is in the Starbucks cafe, and there’s only a small flag to show where it is. Very convenient to the buses around Malta. A Spar supermarket is further down the main street. There’s no key; just a code to enter the hotel and room they send by email. Check the chart outside the elevator to see what floor your room is on; mine, 301, was on floor 5. The pictures were accurate and the facilities modern. Housekeeping was good.

Little shelf space inside other the closet. No usb ports so bring an adapter or two for phones and the like if you’re from the US

No-one to check us in or assist with luggage. Water from shower runs into bathroom. Need to provide water every day.
