Fantastic location and facilities, friendly staff, super dog friendly, awesome breakfast. Parking and restaurant, service by the pool/terrace. The spa was amazing for our taste.

Only small issue, the balcony door was a bit faulty and needs looking at, but not a huge bother.

What I loved about the hotel was that it was very clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. But the best advantage is that there are plenty of activities to do in the area. It’s centrally located for hiking, exploring nature, walking, visiting the dam, and so much more.

They are till renovating the hall on the second floor (at the time that we stayed there).Room itself was renewed! Door of the room was an old one.

Beautiful location. Ground floor with private terrace. Lovely views from restaurant. Nearby walks. Electric charging points for the car.

The TV did not work. The wi-fi was insecure. The restaurant too gourmet for our liking. Here and there smell of drains.

I really like the breakfast. it was rich. and the location is perfect, we spent time near the river at night. and the room was pretty clean.

there was no air conditioning in the room and the weather was 32c. so this was the worst thing. and i think the rooms are a bit small.

The hotel was clean and room was spacious with en-suite. Free parking for 2 motorcycles was available.

The bar was almost non-existent. We opted to have our evening meal at the hotel when booking in as there was nothing else at location. After exploring the area, La Roche is a 30 min walk away with many restaurants and bars. We should have opted to have a meal in La Roche in hindsight, but felt obligated to the hotel after reserving a table. The service was terrible and we waited for over 25 mins for our drinks to arrive and 45 mins for our 1st course. A lot of people had bemused looks on their faces at other tables and some were complaining vocally to staff. It was also one of the most expensive meals of our trip.

Evening meal was delicious. Garden was lovely

It was noisy in the room as by the busy road, not too much of a problem as we had ear plugs.

Dirty ‘suite’ incl balcony. Unfinished building work. Bodged doorways, wires hanging, Extremely poor standard. Stayed in 6 properties during 1 month, this was by far the worst. Total waste of money, big mistake booking this one. We left feeling robbed & that we were owed for having the last 2 nights of our holiday ruined. Have never stayed in a worse place.

Nice hotel, friendly helpful staff room was nice ,lovely breakfast, didn't use the restaurant on the evening as I was in a group of four guys and we preferred to go into the small town for a meal and a few drinks, however if I'd been visiting with my wife I would have used it as it was a beautiful setting over looking garden and woodlands, staff sorted a taxi into town and the manager picked us back up as we couldn't get a taxi back. This was sorted before we went into the town.we were on motorbikes and left them out on the front of hotel wit about 3 others middle off country side no security issues. You can park on a lower part of the carpark which is out of the way ,but it's a gravel carpark so we all parked at the front.

Not to much of a problem, but booking. Com say the town is a 1.4 km walk if I remember rightly, the road is about that.but not really safe to walk so you need to take the walking path which is about 3km which was advised by hotel.

Very modern rework of older building. Food was fantastic (but not cheap!)

Bedrooms quite small (but satisfactory). Large gravel parking area - if you are thinking of travelling there by motorcycle -DON’T!!

Nice hotel in lovely grounds.

Cost quite high. Staff reasonable. Room very small, but comfortable. Choice of evening meal very limited and for two people, would almost certainly cost more that a nights stay. Very expensive!
