    Pros +

    • Amazing stay, the sauna was a bonus, perfect for a family of 5
    • The hotel, location, breakfast and staff, activities options within the property all were excellent.
    • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are always buffet. Not high-end food, but still good cuisine. Room was very nice with the igloo roof. The location of the hotel is far away from everything, so you can enjoy pure nature and wilderness life. Sauna is for free.

    Cons -

    • Was expecting more facility in the cabin but in all it was worth if you go with more people
    • We did a snowmobile activity and it was charged as per 2 hours activity €145/person. The “activity” started sharp at 3PM. The initial 30 minutes was to gather your gears and gloves which could have easily been scheduled before time. The actual activity started at 3:30 where the guide started with the snowmobile briefing, hand signals, routes, etc. To my surprise it was a group of 10 with only one guide in the front. So the last person on snowmobile had no ways to contact the guide in case of emergency. When asked the guide he too had never thought about it and couldn’t answer my concerns. Especially because we were the last in the trail. However The route was beautiful through the frozen lake and forest. But I was left worrying if something happened how do I grab his attention through these loud machines running, middle of no where, pitch dark and with no access to reaching your guide who might not even realize that the last snowmobile is stuck or needs attention. In the end the trip ended at 4:30PM however was sold as a 2 hour (3-5pm) trip
    • The prices are incredible high for everything. The aurora light alarm system (10 bucks/night), all the activities, transfers etc. No supermarket around the corner, so the only buy option was from the hotel. I recommend to bring some snacks/drinks from Ivalo.

We saw amazing northern lights from the room itself !! It is excellent location to see northern lights and was comfortable stay , breakfast was good and location was amazing ( as the name says , into the wilderness

We stayed in bubble. It was amazing. Dinner and breakfast was also fabulous. We enjoyed very much from our stay. I would definitely book this place if I ever visit Lapland again. There were a lot of activities in the hotel as well.

    8CerenPosted on: 3-16-2024

Beautiful location and nature, many varieties of activities (snowmobiling, snowshoeing, aurora hunting, etc.) with extremely nice guides (I cannot stress this enough, they were very nice :)), very clean rooms and tasteful common area to spend time comfortably. Staff was also kind and helpful. The two lakes in and outside the resort are perfect to see the Northern Lights with a very high chance of catching them. Highly recommended to all who want to experience Lapland in all its ways!

We reserved two of the same room (Wilderness Room), however, the two rooms were not the same. One had a clearly older style of bathroom than the other (tiles, vanity, etc.) and a full size window in the room. We've heard that they have been renovating and perhaps, this room was still not renovated. This normally would not have been an issue but paying the same price and getting a worse room just feels like you've been cheated on. It would be better if the prices are set accordingly.

Iglos are nice, dinner and breakfast were pretty good. Lovely stuff.

In our iglo there were spider webs, bed was not long enough (I am 190cm), toilet glass is visible from outside, not ideal for such money.

Not many food choices but the food was very tasteful and I enjoyed everything, the food the location. We were a bit disappointed as o Christmas Eve there was no dinner choices at all but after Christmas was better.

Some of the staff at reception are speaking very bad English and they can’t communicate in English and there was a rude receptionist when I asked why the internet is not working she replied the internet is down, not working. When I asked why she reply probably because it’s to many people in here using it. The rest of the staff was nice and friendly.

Staying at this hotel is one of the best decisions we could ever make about our Finland trip. The location, the room, the facilities, all the activities, everything made staying here an absolutely fantastic experience that we genuinely can recommend to everyone. Plus, all the staff and services are exceptional. We were never tired of the food despite eating all meals there for 3 days straight!

We stayed in the Aurora bubble and it was the best thing we could do to see the Northern Lights. Highly recommend, we spent hours each night watching the lights from our bedroom. Facility has everything, awesome husky sleigh experience, reindeer experience etc. Communal area has several couches and spaces to relax and read or play boardgames. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Staff very friendly!

No kettle in the room, that would be a nice addition. ? As well as a hairdryer in the sauna area.

    8KataPosted on: 12-31-2023

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very quiet and clean. The breakfast and the dinner are huge, with nice selection and some vegetarian options, and the food is really delicious. The staff were very friendly. We saw northern lights on two nights, the location is very beautiful.

The WiFi and the cell reception are not great but that's not the hotel's fault, it's the remote (and beautiful) location. The room amenities could have been better for the price, such as adding more toiletries than soap and a water cooker for tea/coffee. The foreign staff in Sámi dress resembling costumes does not seem quite appropriate, although one of the owners is Indigenous I heard. Gluten-free options during breakfast for my allergic friend were limited.

The aurora bubble was just great. Very unique. And the whole place is like a charm in the middle of the forest.Food was very good and the whole atmosphere was special.

    6NimishPosted on: 12-21-2022

    natural & serene

no space for bags. the bubble is extremely uncomfortable for tourists with bags. no shower area; so disappointing

cabin Kasari is magnificent! Beautiful place.

A lot of people stay in the hotel, so a lot of people for the buffet during breakfast and dinner.

    6KahPosted on: 12-4-2022

    Friendly staff

Our aurora bubble is small. No bathroom and need to go out to sauna for shower. No wifi.

    8Lap2Posted on: 4-6-2022

amazing property and it is big. the best part was doing real husky sleighing on frozen lake inari. what a life time experince!

I was confused between a log cabin and a log suite. So I didn't get fireplace in the log suite. Log suite was warm due to underfloor heating but missed fire palce. Loft was amazing for my son to spend his own time. Food menu is limited but what ever is there was delicious. we tried Lunch buffet ofr Euro 17.

    10DomenicoPosted on: 2-20-2022

The hotel is in the middle of the snowland. Very nice the accomodations and perfect to chase the northern lights but not only. There are activities very nice to enjoy the time you spend over there.
