    Pros +

    • A good place to stay if you're exploring the Moselle region. Very good value-for-money. Breakfast was excellent, and we had a buffet with many options. Rooms were clean, and everything seemed in order.
    • I like a lot the surrounding area, everything was really beautiful. The room was really neat and the breakfast was good enough. Overall, good price/quality balance.
    • The hotel is in front of the river and the breakfast was really good. They also offers dinner but we didn't try. Nearby you can't find so many opened restaurants so it's good to have this option.

    Cons -

    • The queen bed was made of two matresses and it was quite uncomfortable. The coffee was not really good and the TV was a conventional one, not smart tv.
    • The bathroom was not really clean, the smell was not good. It needs a proper cleaning.
    • WiFi didn't work most of the time. It was really inconvenient. Especially for someone who can't have good mobile data signal as well.

Great Breakfast, friendly staff, and perfect service. The location is by the river, has great view.

    7RichardPosted on: 9-29-2024

I had bed on other building so that I have to go about 70~80m for breakfast...but without rain, it was OK, but concerned about raining

There are too many group at the same time, it is recommendable to have separate eating time by group and they can make it during check in

Breakfast was wonderful, with a great variety. Plenty of parking right in front of the hotel for free.

    All great

Hosts and servers were professional and helpful. The location and breakfast were good! Wine recommendations were excellent!!

Bathroom was a bit outdated with variable shower temps. The beds were comfortable enough, but not superb. We could not locate enough outlets for our phones

    7HodgsonPosted on: 7-25-2024

The hotel was good. Not a lot to do in the area for us personally, which surprised us. We were in an annexe to the main part which we didn't realise.

The main fault we had was with the head bar man who took your order. Robert, we all (7 of us) found him offensive and annoying, can't put it all into words. Wouldn't stop me booking again so you decide on Robert when you get there.

the room is quite big, the breakfast is nice

No shower gel and shampoo were provided. We had to buy ourselves. The bathroom is quite small

Good location, free parking along the street, good included breakfast. Also, the paid buffet dinner was good.

    7AndrePosted on: 9-25-2023

The bed was good and also the breakfast was good there was plenty of choice.

We slept in the basement under the floor, it smelled very much of moisture and groundwater, The place to have breakfast was arranged by the hotel and there you were no free choice every day.

    7AndrewPosted on: 8-17-2022

    The location.

It was an acceptable stay in many ways but I was somewhat disappointed that we were expected to book tables to have a beer on the terrace.Additionally the buffet was not replenished quickly enough and the result of this would be that many of our party were left waiting for food.

great location, food at the restaurant was fantastic, the view from the balcony was great

there was no hot water when we showered. the balcony had not been cleaned in ages.

very friendly staff, very clean, overall very good and enjoyable. they have great wines on their menu! the view in this neighbourhood is stunning!

the food menu was limited. That is all I can say (because the quality of the food is very good).

The large corner tub was dreamy after a long day of walking cobblestone streets. The shower had built in speakers so you could jam out to your favorite tunes in great shower acoustics. The bed wasn't anything spectacular, but it served its purpose and the balcony was a quiet place to enjoy the Mosel river. The breakfast had a huge selection, something for everyone.

    6UnknownPosted on: 8-26-2021

Breakfast was a good selection and the restaurant staff in the evening were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were very efficient.

The bed was slightly sloping so it wasn't a comfortable sleep and the elevator next to the room was very loud and squeaky making noise late into the night and early in the morning. The walls are not very soundproof. I was also not given the room I booked and put in a different building. The hotel was extremely busy.

    4EbruPosted on: 6-28-2021

    The rooms were clean

    1. The pictures show a hotel by the river. We were given a room in a guest house outside the hotel in another building. The room was dark and was depressive2. The restaurant was also depressive. I think they should change those table cloths from 1930s and bring a bit more modernized look3. the pillows were a disaster. I had a neck pain in the morning.4. it is close to Beilstein but around the hotel it is not as lively as Beilstein, not much choice of Restaurants closeby 5. we stayed for one night only, more than that would not be an option

    Room was sufficient

The Wi-Fi was not good, I could not connect at all.
