    Pros +

    • I loved the beautiful ladies at the reception. They were so kind and welcoming. They helped us with whatever we needed and they talked and talked. Loved them.
    • Quiet, almost secluded site, yet very close to everything. Spacious balcony facing a green hill. Clean and comfortable room
    • Good location, nice family hotel. Clean and tidy. Owner ladies are very kind and helpful.

    Cons -

    • A bit too pricy. I’d at least expect an included breakfast for the price. (But note that we’ve stayed Christmas time and new year’s eve.) Still i’d rather stay in another village for the price since Kaysersberg is somewhat remote. The only public transport option is Colmar if you want to see the other towns and villages.

    Location, supportive staff, clean rooms

I had booked two rooms the day before and when we arrived there was only one room available. The staff assured us they would find another room for our party and they did. They were so kind about the situation and were able to resolve it while we explored the town. It all worked out. The hotel is super close to downtown but just far enough that you have parking and it’s really quiet. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was really good.

Location is within walkable distance to the old town. Adequate free parking included with stay. Front-of-house staff welcoming and friendly.

The hotel needs updating and refurbishment. Very much in the style of the 1980-1990s and poorly looked after. The bathroom has a bath instead of a shower with no shower curtain. Water splashes everywhere when showering flooding the floor. Limescale and mould coat taps, bathtub sealant and showerhead holder. There was hair from the previous guests/housekeeping in the bathtub. The lobby has a musty smell most likely set into the carpet from the years of use. The stuffy smell leads into the bedroom lacking any form of ventilation and no air conditioning in the room. The bedroom window steams up easily even with the bathroom door closed and the supposed bathroom vent silently running. The bathroom is separate from the toilet with no bidet which is odd for an european country. The general style of the hotel and room makes you feel you paid far too much for where we stayed (student dormitory style, see pictures). Although the mattress was good, the duvet was not fit for use. It had imprints with the patterns set into the duvet so it was rough to cover yourself with. The additional blankets were also not suitable to use as when we went to open the wardrobe storing them there was a distinct smell coming from the blankets.Well before our checkout time we were in our room preparing. We had our door locked from the inside and housekeeping unlocked our door and barged in on us, asking if we were leaving. We hadn't notified front-of-house that we were checking out but housekeeping for some reason kept imposing on us to leave. There were plenty of rooms in our corridor that had been vacated and that housekeeping were still working on. Unsure why they had a necessity to bother us.Parking in Kayserberg is possible outside of 1pm - 6pm and there are plenty of parking lots within walkable distance. We were there on a Thursday/Friday.

Able to get world news on TV. Cool box in room

No electric kettle to make a drink

    5TaaviPosted on: 7-19-2024

The reception staff was very helpful as they accommodated for our late arrival by leaving the room key in a key box. Free parking, also the next day after checking out.

    Facilities are somewhat old-fashioned

Location is superb, friendly staff, good breakfast

The furniture could do with a refresh

Comfortable modern rooms. Nice breakfast. Great location.

This is a lovely hotel just outside the historical area of Kaysersberg. It is next to the forest and one can get to the center in under 5 minutes. The staff was super welcoming and was always asking if we need anything else. The rooms were great, breakfast - classical french breakfast.

The parking was a bit difficult - places were very crammed and some drivers were occupying 2 places...

    9UtkarshjainPosted on: 12-27-2023

Staff was helpful and rooms were big and had everything we need

They can add a electric kettle for hot water, we had to go down to reception every time we needed it. But the staff was very helpful every time

The owners/staff were so friendly and helpful including recommending park and tram for our visit to Strasbourg. Excellent breakfast. No extra cost for the car parking.

Needed a shower curtain - bathroom got very wet. More comfortable pillows please.

Kind & considerate staff, the room was modern and spotlessly clean, nice breakfast with good quality yoghurts and a variety of cheeses & breads/croissants, the mountain view from the room & the dining area was beautiful, I'd definitely recommend!

Internet connection was bad. I could not get any wifi on the mobile phone.

    8HannahPosted on: 7-24-2023

Location, friendly and helpful reception and managers, parking directly outside our room, comfy sofa bed

    8StevePosted on: 7-12-2023

Location, close to town yet peaceful. Parking good.

Portion controlled breakfast. Squeaky entrance door. No fan in room.

    9MilanPosted on: 6-27-2023

A great hotel near the center of the town, yet it was completely peaceful. Quiet rooms. I appreciate the possibility of parking in front of the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff.

    no air conditioning

Family room was located in Annex. Parking was in front of the building, very convenient to carry luggage to the room. Bathtub was big. Water pressure was very good and filled the tub so quickly. Highlight was the large terrace with stunning view of trees and mountains.

Breakfast area did not have a terrace. This is why we did not have breakfast.

    10LeonPosted on: 5-16-2023

Very pleasant staff, very friendly. Clean and quiet, nice room and very comfortable bed, also separate toilet and bathroom which was a nice change to the normI forgot to ask for Wi-Fi code before exploring the evening in the village and no one available after 9pm to ask for the code, which it states you need to do before 9pm. Only charged 3 euros for a coffee and croissant which was amazing, the price and the food

    Wi-Fi code available in room

The hotel's location is perfect. Its value is outstanding. It is very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was good, but the buffet choice was not great. The hotel has a 70-80s flair that was not to my taste.
