    Pros +

    • The hotel is well located, has a lot for children to play with (indoor and outdoor), and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and big enough.
    • The bed was good . The bathroom excellent renovated.
    • The location is tucked amongst the gorgeous vineyards and located close to restaurants within walking distance (1Km) the host and staff were super friendly and even made reservations for us at a local restaurant.

    Cons -

    • The walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighboor snoring. It kinda ruined the impression we had of the place, which was good other than that. But you don't want to hear people make noise till late and keep you from sleeping.
    • The reception was not very polite. It was over decorated outside in the surrounding of the house. I , 88 years old with walking problems had to fight for a room downstares. I should climb into the 3rd story. There was no elevator. The breakfast was perfect but the variety of bread was very limited, only soft white bread was available. Infront of our window where still lying the removed carpets leftover from the renovation. I missed a small fridge.
    • The rooms are small, common balcony and access to property. Breakfast is expensive considering the food that is served.

They were kind to accommodate our later arrival - and there was a parking spot! Very cosy beds and room. Shower was a delight after a long day of travel in the cold. Because the restaurant wasn’t available, we explored Kappelrodeck and found some delicious food at Alde Brennküch. The morning offered a beautiful sunrise over the mountains right in front!

Simply perfect !clean, amazing for families. Has all you need to a perfect holiday. But above all are the hosts - made us feel like we’re home away from home. Warm kind and loving

Great location with a nice view to the rear of the property. Only a few minutes from town with plenty of places to get food. Has a well stocked self service bar and terrace. Owner was lovely and really friendly. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I was in the area

Outside scenery, parking, play area and garden for kids,

The rooms are small, common balcony and access to property. Breakfast is expensive considering the food that is served.

Nice environment in Germany country side, grape garden

    No air conditioning

    - great location overlooking the vineyards. - As a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 young kids) we were all able to stay in a single room together. - everything was beautifully clean.- we had fans to keep us cool in the very warm weather. - the mattresses were very comfy. - we thought the stay was exceptionally good value for money. - the staff were lovely and very accommodating.

    Nothing of note.

Very nice terrace to have a drink in the evening overlooking the soft hills. The lady who welcomed me in the evening was very kind and accomodating.Thank you and all the best

The facility provides large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a balcony with a beautiful view. But the biggest plus for the friendly staff who make you feel like a welcome guest. A place definitely worth recommending.

Beds were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was nice.We were able to use the shared kitchen and fridge.

The hotel feels like it's past it's prime. The room smelled, was very hot (even in spring) and wasn't soundproof in the least. We booked this place based on the pictures, but we felt it really didn't live up to them at all.

    Location, cost, staff

The single bed in our room (#22) was WAY to soft, almost like a hammock and I didn’t sleep well and still have a sore back. The partially clear glass door for the bathroom! Was a bit awkward with parents.

Great place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Staff not the most helpful if friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and had everything, including toiletries, bottled water, a hairdryer etc. Location was nice and quiet.

Parking was free but the parking lot was fairly small. It also takes about 40 minutes to get to Strasbourg by car.

Amazing views!!! Big balcony, very well located!

    8FelourPosted on: 8-15-2023

Everything, the manager was a lovely, helpful lady.

Small kettle with tea and coffee and small under counter fridge freezer would be great to have in the room.

Amazing place - I would definitely recommend! ViewsLocation - quiet ideal for families yet close to the townGood size and comfort of double bed BalconyPlaygroundNice staffFree parking

Lack of small fridge/kettle in the room

The room had an amazing view to a vineyard. Super comfortable beds. They have this option so you can go to the common aerea (I think it is open at all times) grab yourself a beer and pay for it yourself. Easy access

We were 5 people but they gave us towels for 2 people.just that

    10FilippoPosted on: 7-27-2023
