Very comfortable room. Dinner was delicious. I would come back again and again. A fantastic hotel .much more than its 2 ⭐ rating. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Al round super experience.

Location was very convenient with parking. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy but no heater on and room was cold

Entire hotel was empty but family checked in next to us at 6.00 am. Walls are paper thin and we were woken up & then kept awake while they unpacked and settled in for the next 45 mins; they could have been moved slightly away from us. No kettle in the room.

Booked a triple room and was provided with a double room with very little space to move around and no seating in room, had to sit on bed which was very uncomfortable and very hard to sleep on.No kettle or tea / coffee facilities provided in room.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, that's about it.

Lots! For starters this was the most expensive hotel on my trip, I only booked it because there were limited options, it was the worst hotel on my trip. There was a very old bath with a shower, but no shower curtain. I was not allowed to keep my bike in my room, and told to keep it in a room that was not locked overnight. The brekfast was very poor, cheap quality.

This is a very good 2 star hotel with an excellent restaurant and very friendly and efficient staff. Nice lady owner who clearly takes great pride in her establishment. It is not luxurious but you dont expect that in a 2 star, but it is outstanding value for money and right in the middle of the town. Big bedroom and comfortable bed. Free private car park helps greatly.

Although the wifi worked well in the downstairs sitting area it did not work at all in the bedroom.

A great little hotel in the heart of the town close to everything. The staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. Our room was light and comfortable and the beds were great.

A slight stale smell in the room and the room could have done with alick of paint.

Adequate but food was good.

Bathroom was very dated and tile grouting was dirty.

It was a great value, helpful to have parking! Dinner at the hotel was amazing!! Staff were friendly & helpful.

The property was fine-worn & antique like, but there was a musty smell that bothered my allergies & a sewer smell that was coming from the shower room. Also very noisy in the mornings!

The room was off a car parking area so not very nice outlook, but it was quiet.Bathroom was a bit scruffy.

Close to sites we planned to visit.

Room was cold. When we asked for heat we were told that it is "done", it's June". Actually it was still May. We finally asked the owner for heat. It was turned on for an hour. Then nothing more. We were cold the entire visit. For breakfast it is best if you are the first to arrive. They do not replenish the offerings as they are depleted. We had 2 pieces of cheese to select from , 2 pieces of ham and some croissants. Overall the breakfast was a disappointment.

Basic but good hotel, lovely staff and good food. Exactly what you would want from a 2-star hotel. Secure courtyard parking.

The door handle to the room kept falling off and the plug socket was hanging out the wall

The sense of history twined with the modern facilities. I had visited a museum showing footage from the war and saw this hotel in the news reel.
