The breakfast was excellent. Good quality, lots of choice, and vegetarian / dairy free options

The room was mis-sold. It was described as having air conditioning, but the unit in our room only blew out hot air. At least 2 other rooms of the 10 available also had no air conditioning, it was broken, with no plans to fix, and no contrition or apology.

The GeoHotel is conveniently located within the town. It has been updated and the staff was very helpful in giving us tips on where we should visit. Also, the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Monsanto.

Since the building is old, the plug-ins for phones, etc. where not very convenient, so this is why I didn't give the room a 10.

Bed seemed to have uneven surface. Not too comfortable, but doable.

Great location and easy to get to. Washroom was a good size with lots of water pressure. Loved the town and castle ruins. Parking was close.

Breakfast was basic, rooms were dated and showing wear. Beds were uncomfortable but not painfully so.

Great location although a little hard to find using google maps (had us on the topside not where the door was located). Great breakfast. Fantastic location. Parking is a little down the hill.

The room had no heat. We asked front desk- they came to room and said it was running. Room was set on 30 degrees C and we froze all night. Had booked 2 nites - only stayed one!

Exceptional hotel in a very quaint setting. We visited Monsanta to get off the beaten path and were pleasantly surprised by the town and this hotel. Its a small hotel, but it complements the town perfectly and our stay here was just wonderful. The location, the breakfast and the staff were all exceptional.

The breakfast is not that great. It's standard but with not many options for vegetarians. Besides that, the cheese looked and felt like they were warmed up and chilled again. Not great

Parking in Monsanto can be difficult because it is a hill town.

The room was tired, it could have done with a coat of paint a year ago, the headboard had vinyl coating coming off it, there was a hole in the bathroom door and water damage to the trim in the bathroom

The room was at the back side of the hotel. There were three windows, but two faced directly onto the street at the back and there was no privacy. The other one faced the outside stairway.The room was on the second floor, but we were never able to open the shutters, windows or curtains.There are various defects, even if they are only noticeable. I wonder what is going on in the places you don't see.The hotel is in need of major maintenance.*An example: see photo

Amazing staff, spacious room, beautiful view, dim lights, great location right at the entrance of the village and a very nice breakfast!
