    Pros +

    • We all liked the bungalows. It was by the fjord with beautiful views and the kitchen was very useful.
    • AMAZING location! Beautiful and cozy cabin. It had everything we need to cook. The most nice stuff! They helped us with everything we needed!
    • The cabin was simple but very comfortable and adequate. There was a stove top and a microwave, a fridge with a small freezer and kitchen equipped to fix simple meals. There are laundry facilities on site for a fee. And a kitchen area with full stoves if needed. The view is overlooking the fjord and is stunning. The site is about 2 km or so from Geiranger, so away from the craziness of the cruise traffic when a cruise is in town. Boats are available to rent to go out on the fjord which we did and it was amazing or you c an take many different tours from town. Slow chargers for electric vehicles are available for rent.

    Cons -

    • The check in instructions didn’t mention the fact we had to go to the check-in office to get our keys. I called and it was resolved.
    • More sun!!
    • Really nothing to complain about. You are in a campground surrounded by other cabins some that are a little less elegant than the superior cabin and campsites as well. But it was quiet, very private and very comfortable. Bonus is that you can charge your electric car there for free from the wall of your cabin.

Beautiful location and away from a little bit of the craziness in town with all cruises arriving daily.Superior cabin was outstanding. Very clean very new. Everything worked great.

The view from the Premier cabin was lovely. We were in number 11 and there is not the option for anyone to camp in front of you. Therefore you have direct and lovely views of the fjord and mountains. Had the ability to sit outside and enjoy the view even when raining due to having a terrace with a small ‘over hang’ so you could keep dry. It also created a sense of privacy from the cabins very close either side of you.Ability to swim in the fjord literally a couple of steps away and it was most welcomed. The cabin is small but it has everything you need for 2 people (we had a one bedroom). Fully equipped kitchen - had everything you needed for a short stay. Lovely welcoming staff (Maria on reception was so helpful and friendly). 25/30 minute walk into the main town along a road with no path but we managed it both ways.Would highly recommend.

Amazing property. Perfectly located. Amazing views. Shopping and dining very close. Got to watch cruise ships come and leave. Loved this property

Couldn’t say anything bad about the facility. Lived every moment of that. One thing bad I can say is time your travels around the area based on cruise ships tours coming and leaving. The roads very backed up from tour buses.

It’s a wooden cabin on the Fjord, we loved it!Helpful staff. We rented a speed from them boat and it was amazing

    Everything was great!

Great view of the fjord, many activities nearby, ferry, cruise, kayaking. Cabin has nice terrace overlooking the fjord.

Hard to drive to reception. So many campers in front of the cabins. Ask or choose with more privacy.

Excellent location with perfect view of the fjord. Excellent, modern facilities. Clean, quiet.

It was away from busy Geiranger but super close to go into town. It was right on the fjord, peaceful and beautiful!! Loved our lovely clean cabin!!

Great location. The views were excellent. The cottage was quite small for 4 adults. Able to park and charge the electric car right by the door - very convenient. Would recommend.

The cottage was a bit small - not much space to put luggage or clothing.

The two bedroom cabin we stayed was newly built and beautifully furnished. Very spacious and modernized. It’s right by the fjord.

The views were amazing from our cabin and the staff was very helpful . The kitchen was well equipped.

The water heater was too small for 4 ppl .We only had hot water for 2 ppl taking quick showers . We had to remove the sheets from the beds .

    10GretaPosted on: 5-28-2025

Beautiful location! Very clean, comfortable cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed. They had powerboat and fishing gear rental which was a highlight for our family. We were able to see Seven Sisters on our own.

    10LydiaPosted on: 5-23-2025

We had a small little cottage which had everything what you need for short stay. The view from the patio is stunning.

The only issue we had was that it is very uncomfortable for one person going from the bed (the one who is close to window).

We stayed in a premium cabin (no. 12), 2 adults and one baby. The cabin was fairly new (very modern), appliances were in excellent condition, very well equipped, fantastic view, perfect location just at the waterfront (first row). The internet was incredibly fast. We recommend to check cruise schedule if you want to avoid the big cruises. We checked in after hours which worked well, instructions were clear. Staff was just amazing, all of them super nice and helpful. They even sent us something that we left behind. One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed. Heaters worked well, cabin was very warm, we stayed in the last week of the season. Town is just few minutes by car, there is a supermarket. We stayed 4 nights and did not get bored. Lots of things to do around and the lookouts are amazing. There are two types of Fjord cruises, ask the staff. We also enjoyed going to Eidsvatnet lake, crossing by ferry in Eidsdal, Valldal/Sylte and to Trollstigen, the latter was closed due to snow but ride to there was nice.

Nothing that we really didn‘t like. Cabin was a bit small for a family (including baby cot) but we knew that before. Baby cot and baby chair were with extra charge but was indicated at the time of booking. Both were in great condition and extremely clean. Baby cot did not come just with standard „mattress“ but had an extra more comfortable mattress. We would recommend to have a bit more hangers for towels in the bathroom and shelfs to place items. The bed was a bit small due to space constraints and the topper/mattress a bit too soft.

Fantastic view of the Fjord right in front of the cottage. We rented a boat out and enjoy fishing in the fjord. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We have a wonderful stay and highly recommend.
