Cons -
- The location is bad. The visitors were some drunk people. Parking is rare, you should be extra lucky to find a space. The hotel should hold the 1st place globally for smallest elevator. One person with one bag and that's it, it's already full. The facilities were dirty with spider webs all over. The room was the filthiest one I ever visited. There were bugs coming from the walls, I kept killing them and they kept coming. The light was flickering like a disco ball. There were hair on the bed. The room smelt like cigarette and the smell wouldn't go. The hotel is supposed to be smoking free. The entrance door broke in the middle of the night and my husband was locked outside so I had to go down to open the door to let him and one more guy in. We had a 20months old infant with us and that's not really a place to stay with a baby. I had to talk with Booking for nearly 3 hours to find a solution and they (the hotel) artfully made us stay to charge one night when we asked for a full refund. We had booked for two nights and stayed for one, despite our will. I had to insist and spend two days on the phone to get a refund at least for one night. The staff is absent, there is a reception only for some hours on the morning. Then you should call and maybe if you're lucky, you can find someone. There was a guy answering the phone in the night shift who was incredibly rude and kept hanging up because he had a second line. By far the worst experience I ever had in an accomodation. And I'm not even a demanding person. They don't even provide you the essentials. If you respect yourself, don't even bother to book there. Even if it was for free, it still wouldn't be bearable.I didn't feel safe while staying in that place.UNACCEPTABLE.
- Very basic and instructions to open room via code were confusing- it says to turn knob left upon entering code but in reality you were supposed to turn it right. Explanation? It depends on where the door is hinged…
- location is remote

great price, clean room
location is remote
Proximity of the motorway. It was quite clean.
The floor in the room at the underground level was very cold. There should be either a carpet floor furnishing or at least some carpets on the floor.Next to the room, there was an uncovered technical doors, badly protecting from the noice of devices behind it.
We traveled with two adults, child (3 yo) and a puppy. The room was warm at arrival (winter) it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. There was enough parking space. We enjoyed our stay.
Clean Confy bed
Really cold , the shower gel was full with water I’m sick now after sleeping in a cold room
Helpful staff when problem with check in. All in all easy check inGood that you can check in any time.
Were greeted with a half naked man sitting in his window smoking. Felt unsafe parking car in area.If you are not worried about you're car or scared of bugs and just want a cheap place to stay. This is a good place for you.
I liked the hotel because the bed was comfy the room and bathroom were big and it was quiet. The surrounding area was beautiful with the little gardens. It's a bit far from the train station though, but that was fine with me. I would book again.
The wardrobe was a bit small.
Spacious room and bathroom.
Locks complicated. Needed to phone to get access. Staff not on site at arrival time. Needed more attention to cleaning - 2 dead spiders
Easy access to shops and cafes but in a quiet area. Fantastic Chinese Bar and restaurant close by , excellent food .I was cycling and had secure storage Staff excellent
? Nothing.
+ location
- COLD ROOM- NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER???- there was a van outside, parked next to entrance, motor running for hours
Good location
No staff to help on site if required. Opening doors to building and room with keypads was difficult with luggage.
The location was perfect! The stuff very friendly!
The hotel is not close to our home!
Easy to do self check in
The rooms were in the basement and smelled of mould.
good value for small group
not clean, bathroom almost dirty, lock not working well (a struggle to open at times), elevator ridiculously small. Did not expect great for this money but expected clean and working.
Nothing went well. When we were finally able to enter room it was clean, comfortable & quiet.
No one was on site to let us in. We had to phone to obtain key entry codes to enter building & our room. Phone host wasn't very helpful. Door latch mechanism to our unit was broken so we couldn't enter. After waiting more than an hour someone showed up to let us enter the room. During our 2 night stay, door latch remained broken & had difficulty reentering the room. It seems to be a remote control hotel with no one on site to assist guests when a problem arises.
Do not recommend
Never saw any staff, reception, or house cleaning
Near the highway, means fast to arrive. Free parking in front of the hotel. Additionally to that good piece in comparison with other hotels in Bamberg
The locate was nice, clean and quiet.
check in without reception was very stressful, sent check in instructions in German with pin code that did not work. Lucky there were other people to help us, call and finally get into our room.
