Amazing pool and views!

Situated high on a hill in the Luberon just outside of Gordes, it’s made of the ochre stone blocks the region is known for. The landscaping and sprinkling of sculptures around the beautifully manicured grounds is so lovely. We had a room with a balcony so we could watch the sky turn pink at sunset. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the patio was excellent- it’s a buffet and I especially enjoyed the wide range of cheeses offered. Dinner was delicious and not outrageously expensive. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area is gorgeous! There are actually 2 pools, one indoor and the other outdoor. I didn’t get to try the spa but it looked very nice.

At breakfast, I asked one of the waiters for some still water. He told me that I can pick it up from the buffet. This should not be the answer at all SLH class hotel service mind set.

Services, tranquility and food

Les Bories is a BEAUTIFUL hotel with beautiful scenery in every direction. Its location is just outside of Gordes - easily walkable. The pool is enormous and in a beautiful setting. Everything about this hotel is first rate!

I can’t think of a thing!

Everything! Staff was fabulous- beautiful surrounding, breakfast outstanding . Had spa treatment that was great- very accommodating to getting me last minute appointment.

That we couldn’t stay longer. Nothing to not like.

The location is lovely but this is not a five star hotel

The shower was dirty, the staff really unfriendly and the whole hotel needs an upgrade! On arrival we were told there was no beer or cucumber for a gin and tonic! No one helped us with our bags or even offered to, we ended up laughing amongst ourselves as to how shocking the service was! The bathroom is badly finished with tiny tolietries like you would find in a cheap motel and tiny little thin towels! there are water stains on the ceiling outside our room all of which are in an ugly corridor with office like plastic tiles! Look at the images!! The outside is fairly unkempt too! I wrote to the manager to inform her of how disappointed i was to which she failed to reply until we left and basically told me that she would make the changes but this doesn't really help my stay! I was offered a discount by the receptionist All very poor! Such a shame as the location is lovely! I would say that this hotel has had its day and now needs a bit of attention

The location is very good breakfast was good. Swimming pool (2) excellent.

This hotel is a dream and anyone traveling in this area should stay here! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! The grounds, spa, pool, dining experience, food, staff, room, and surrounding area is charming and absolutely perfect! I do think this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in and it was a dream for me. I truly appreciate all the staff and lovely stay here. Thank you!Also, Luca who is a waiter/server here at this hotel is exceptional. He stood out to me at dinner because he works so hard and was so kind. Thank you!

Authentic rustic luxury hotel with beautiful gardens, huge pool and surrounding facilities. Big and comfortable rooms. Not even the rain ruined our stay.

Fabulous location and great facilities. Rooms are bright spacious and very comfortable.

Shame that on Monday evening they only have a limited menu at dinner.

We loved having a chilled lunch by the pool. And we loved the sun loungers with comfy matresses

My room was not in the main hotel and was small and a bit tired. My recommendation is to stay in the main hotel, which is beautiful

Grounds were simple & beautiful. Location to getting around to local towns was great. Breakfast buffet was yummy! Poolside lunch was wonderful.

Lack of daily variation on buffet. Service for drinks around pool was almost non-existent while we ere there. We were at the pool all 5 days and only one day did someone come around for a drink order.

Attractive buildings.

Toilet didn’t flush and couldn’t be fixed. Door onto the terrace was vey difficult to open. Overhead shower not working. Shower door leaked out onto the bathroom floor. One of the Sunbed on the private terrace was damaged but was replaced the following morning.

Beautiful setting. Rooms were average for the price and decor was average.

Wish there had been a hot tub!
