- The location and setting are very picturesque. The wifi works very well. The staff were friendly and very accommodating.
- Quiet, great location, comfortable, clean room, balcony, parking. The host was very friendly.
- The staff was wonderful. We interacted with a few members of the Winter family, as well as a server at the restaurant. Everyone was kind and helpful. The rooms were very big, the windows and balconies showed the beautiful surroundings. Two of us are vegan and there were great options at breakfast, as well as a couple options on the dinner menu. We will definitely stay here again.
Cons -
- Unfortunately, this week at the hotel a group of tourists from China. Around 10:30 p.m., there is still noise in the hallway. Around 11.30 p.m. fire alarm. Probably cigarettes in the room.
- The receptionist/waitress/do-it-all can’t do it all and there can be long waits and a lot of ringing bells for attention; but, she is brilliant. There was another waitress later in the evening. There is no bar as a focal point; but, there are lots of drinks (somewhere) to choose from. Not cheap, but, good value. The room a bit ‘industrial’. Opaque toilet door, but, not visible from the main room. Incredibly long toilet flush; thought I’d broken it. The ‘grain’ in the laminate wooden floor feels like sand; it isn’t! The noise from the road below is a real shame because the balcony and view are wonderful.
- My wife and I stayed at 9 different hotels in our recent trip to Germany and found this hotel to be our favorite. Staff was super friendly. The restaurant was five stars! Our room with a view was outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to be able to come back in the near future to spend more time there.

Big, smart, attractive hotel up the hillside if walking. First or last building in the village. Reception is big and bright. The receptionist/waitress/do-it-all is amazing. Friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. Wonderful balcony with two ‘wicker’ chairs and a table overlooking the wooded valley opposite; sun all afternoon. The room is very big and bright with huge picture window wall with huge sliding door onto that balcony. Good sized comfortable bed, but with two good sized single duvets. A nice bench with a table and two chairs and a desk. Two bedside tables with bedside lighting. Tele. Clothes hanging space with coat hangers. One black & white photo on wall. The shower room is big and shiny and very clean. Very big walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Very good white fluffy towels and lovely shower gel. Downstairs are multiple areas/rooms to dine. A nice seating area around a big round table. Good food, beer and a local gin. Bright and airy. Breakfast (included) is good.

nice, clean roomsgood location good dinnervery friendly staff!
breakfast could be more elaborate, but was decent nevertheless
Genuine country hospitality, nice food, secure bike storage
No WiFi connection in our room
I was welcomed by a very friendly team. I stayed is modern and well decorated and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Although it was slightly expensive, the food was excellent and the service was superb.Highly recommended for those passing through.
I found this place on booking.com as night was drawing in and I was driving cross-country from Munich to Tübingen. The kitchen had already closed by the time I got there (after 21.00 hrs) but a lovely lady on reception kindly produced a delicious Brotzeit supper for me. The breakfast was great too! I was only overnighting, but this would be a great base for a few days' walking or biking in the countryside.
Everything was absolutely fine
This is a well organised family run business. The ambience is open and relaxing. The location is beautiful. The quality of the food was excellent.
The quality of the breakfast was good, just the variety of hot food could be improved. The a la carte menu was a little on the pricey side, but the quality did justify it. The mattress needs replacing in 28!
Super friendly staff!
