Pros +
- My room was light, very clean and spacious. It had a nice bathroom with a good shower and a little kitchenette. The hotel provided a free bus pass, which I used to go to Bellinzona, both to wander and to catch a train to Rome. The breakfast buffet was generous, and I enjoyed one good dinner there.

- Beautiful old palazzo located in Giubiasco, at the periphery of Bellinzona. Ideal as an over night base for car based excursions in the area. Less ideal for in town activities or for railway based travel. Our room faced the back and was quiet, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff is the most cheer- and helpful you’ll find anywhere. If you are a late riser, there is really nice breakfast available for you. If you’re an early riser and reliant on coffee, you’re out of luck: no tea or coffee in the room nor on the floor. You’ll have to wait for the espresso machine in the bar downstairs to start up and be staffed at around 0630 or start your day without coffee.
Cons -
- The hotel occupies a nicely restored grand building, but it is surrounded by apartment houses. It is located not in Bellinzona but rather a 10-minute bus drive away in the rather lackluster town of Guibiasco. There is not much to see there, and the nearby buildings obscure what once must have been wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
- There was nothing we disliked
- Dinner was not in Line with previous experience. The dishes were not particularly tasty. The beef tartar looked and tasted industrial, although we were assures it was freshly sauces. The pasta alle vongole didn’t have much taste. And service was somewhat distant.

Breakfast was exceptional! My family enjoyed the options, and our waitress and front desk staff were so helpful and informative. It was a bit further away from the main city, but I think the location and park outside the hotel make it very family friendly. The room was spacious and fit the three of us comfortably. We would definitely come here again!
The staff were friendly and efficient. The reception desk people were especially welcoming and helpful with info on bus service and other services available . The waitress at dinner was very friendly too. The room was immaculate , and the entire property is charming. We loved our stay

The staff were fantastic. Great breakfast spread. Nice park just outside the building.
Really easy to find by car and impressed by the well organised parking arrangements!Lovely meal on the terrace with view of snow capped mountains.
Very nice Little hôtel over all.

A boutique hotel for business travellers in Ticino
Location and room were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was extremely hot. There was no way to control the heat. It was way too warm to have heat running. We opened windows but they only barely opened , so no air flow. It was uncomfortable. This was our only complaint.
Location was great! Perhaps the only 4 star hotel in Belinzona. The suite on 3rd floor w that cute little patio is so stylish! Staff super friendly and approachable / sensible.
NA
Location was not good at all - in the center of GIUBIASCO - difficult to reach and mive around without a car as the 2 buses coming 5 min away from hotel are every 30 min and not at all coordinated but both arriving in same time so if you miss them is a 30 min waiting ….
The information on the booking is very misleading - it says PIAZA GRANDE BELLINZONA … in fact the hotel is in GIUBIASCO and is a 13 min walk from train station GIUBIASCO which is a 7 min ride from Bellinzona. - this was not good and was my mistake of not double checking and we ended up in this hotel in the very quiet Giubiasco … hotel is all it says but is NOT in BELLINZONA city so without a car was a lot of inconvenient back and forth. Hotel is correct and nice and quiet and staff very very nice and friendly
The hotel is beautiful, property is new and modern without losing the Italian-Swiss atmosphere. We loved our stay and will certainly go back.
Room design, friendliness of staff, accommodating staff…
It was a quiet and nice area. The bar was open late and breakfast was available early in the morning.
It'd have been nice if there was a kettle/tea set in the room.
Everything, friendly and competent staff, good location, high quality room and great food.
The staff and owner were so friendly and helped us plan our afternoon in Belinzona. Although it is outside of the city center, a quick and free bus ride was all that was needed. The dinner in the restaurant was fabulous and the ambiance was unique and special. Our regret was that we couldn’t stay for the beautiful Sunday Brunch.
Nothing!
Staff very friendly, very modern but in an antique surrounding, comfortable.Excellent breakfast! Nice restaurant in antique cellar!
Not on walking distance to the centre
Its location both pretty close to the autostrada for travelling and right in Piazza Grande for walking in the town and also a path behind leading il ponte vecchio and the hill with vineyards behind. Staff were excellent and dinner was very good. Can also hire bikes, always a good thing.
Friendly helpful staff, easy parking, very unique small town atmosphere and a certain soul. Also great value for money considering it is Switzerland.
Some of the furniture is slightly out of place or "old" but in part that adds to the atmosphere, so I would not even count it as a real minus. Happy with all especially for the price.
