We next door neighbour decided to play loud music until right up to 22:00

Amazing location, easy access to 3. Very helpful staff, the lady at the reception and lovely young girl.

When I arrived after 12 hours driving the only thing I wanted was a warm room to sleep but the heating wasn’t turned on and the room was sooooo cold. When I turned it on I could see it wasn’t switched on from the boiler. I went to the reception and asked for an electrical heater and was a provided one. The staff was so helpful and I am told the gas would come on soon and stays all night. IT DID NOT. Not until the next day, when I was leaving 5 am in the morning, I could feel it started to warm up. Although I left the electrical heater on I wasn’t comfortable with its light and noise, and possible safety concerns having it on all night long. I couldn’t sleep properly. I wasn’t happy. The room, furniture, bathroom very old, very loud vents. Clean though. No sound proof

Hotel is in a quiet rural location, with safe parking for our classic car. There is a lovely sunny terrace. We had a great, reasonably priced meal in the restaurant and breakfast was very comprehensive and varied. We had a comfortable room with a bath as well as a shower. Good wifi and friendly, efficient staff.

Our room was in the annexe, where the smoking area was right outside the entrance door. Consequently the entrance hall and staircase had a permanent strong smell of smoke.

Lovely accommodation, near to the main highway yet surrounded by quiet countryside. Interesting use of basalt columns in the garden areas.

Location was peaceful with nice surroundings and not far from the motorway.The room was clean and quiet, we very much enjoyed a nice relaxed breakfast.

The room was a very good size and well equipped. As the Hotel is not far from the A3 motorway, it made it a great spot for a stop over on our way back to the UK. Also as the Hotel is set in a forest, it's a very quiet location with lots of walking, perfect for those travelling with a 4 legged friend. We had a good meal and beer from the restaurant (nice seating area outside) and the next morning, the breakfast is served on a very nice terrace at the back of the main Hotel building.

Not really a dislike, but the room we had (in the annexe) was a little dated, but still clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Again, not a dislike but more informational. If your vehicle is over 2t (like ours VW T5), you cannot cross the small bridge to park directly outside the hotel to unload. However, there is ample parking before the bridge.

great location for stopover, being so near to A3, but so quiet and peaceful for a great nights sleep.Dinner and breakfast were both generous, good quality and enough choice and not at all expensive. We look forward to staying there again.

Absolutely nothing

Location was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. No traffic noise. Only the sounds of nature. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Just what you need to rest after a long day travelling,

Quaint old hotel in the country side, smallish room but adequate, good shower. Beautiful restaurant with good food. Excellent breakfast, easy parking

We liked the rural location and peaceful feel to the place. The room was nice and clean, and the shower was good. We did not use the restaurant in the evening, so I can not comment. However, the buffet breakfast was good.None of the staff spoke English but they were all nice and friendly.

For improvement purposes:I think the smoking area could be placed somewhere better than outside the door to the rooms building as it is not nice for a non-smoker like myself to walk through when there are a number of people smoking. This only happened once during the evening and would not stop us from returning but an area to consider for improvement.

Very friendly people here! Nice decor of the outside areas and restaurant gives a homely feeling.

The restaurant/bar was closed due to a private function and they didn't inform us. ?

Nice hotel for a vacation. But unfortunately we went there only for a stayover during a road trip. Bit far from highway. But nice surrounding & no complaints about the breakfast

A very nice hotel placed in a picturesque area south of Bonn, The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner when we arrived which was served well and tasty, my son's very much enjoyed it. Breakfast was also great for what was on offer but would have preferred more hot options. A lovely place to stay and great view to enjoy when eating dinner

Unfortunately one of the rooms we believe had a dog staying in there and so the smell was overwhelming. Luckily as we booked two rooms we all grouped together in one room so we could sleep and not be disturbed by the strong smell. We informed the reception in the morning in which they said they would consult with the house cleaning staff. No offer of a reduced rate or money back on that room was offered which was a shame.

Wonderful setting with lots of walks. Clean, comfortable hotel with character. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant.

Old classic Hotel in beautiful woodlands. Near the motorway good for overnight stay.

Although it has been renovated few things still a bit tired. Couldn't get TV signal.

Good hotel close to highway to stay one night. Friendly hotel personnel.

The location is amazing, in woodland, beautiful vieuws into the woods. Sitting outside under a roof it was still really nice at the end of october.
