Hotel-Restaurant Horizon Ath-Lessines

First of all, quality beds, nice shower, everything is clean and comfortable and it is nice to see that the hotel has actions to reduce carbon footprint. In addition, we were received very friendly by the staff. They were kind both at the reception as well as in the restaurant. Food was good, both the breakfast as well as the dinner. We went to this hotel after a trip to Pairi Daiza. It is easy to find the hotel from there and is very close by.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were great, room was fab! Great bath and really spacious.

The location was a bit out the way, it was absolutely fine for us but if it was a stop gap for our flight.

The hotel had everything we looked for in a short 1 night stay. Comfortable bed, lovely staff, water available in a fontain on our floor. Bathroom basic and functional. The hotel plays a lot of attention to sustainability.

The restaurant closed a bit early in the evening.

Staff was helpful. He was the only one on duty and had to serve at the bar and the reception at the same time.

The hotel room was dirty. Stains on the bed sheet. The beds were not comfortable at all. We all did not sleep well. We could not wait to get out of the hotel to the extent none of us took a shower so we could be on our way. Also, when we arrived the reception, there was an awful smell like sewer. What a horrible welcome. This is an example of living in past glory. They need to upgrade the beds, the bathroom and their housekeepers. My experience does not speak well for a 4 star hotel.This should be a 2 star hotel.

Staff of the restaurant in great. Best beef tartare i ever had. Quality of Meat was excellent.

Friendly and welcoming staff.

There where no staff at the breakfast and the buffet are almost empty we even need to clean a table for us to use.

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food.

The restaurant of the hotel was closed! It was not very convenient when you are travelling with a big family.

Cold selection at breakfast good, cooked food poor. The hotel restaurant was closed for refurbishment but we were not informed of this. It made it very difficult for our evening meal as we had 2 very young children and had to go out in the evening to find somewhere to eat.

the food at the restaurant was okwe had 2 connected rooms which was agreeable for the children to be independent-ish

We did not have any hot water so were unable to take a showerservice a the restaurant was slow and the bill was high for an inductrial estate hotel

Restaurant in evening was shut, nothing on website or communication from hotel told usNoise on floor meant every few minutes a buzz sound went OK whilst you were awake but trying to sleep made children jump n disturbed us the WHOLE night. Awful!No bed sheet on bed, had to go to reception to get one. Kitchen had a brown liquid throughout the utensils and plate drawers. Had to clean myself and had to get cleaner from reception.The man on reception had to deal with check ins manage bar for drinks tend to phone calls then tend to queries and problems from guests like above. One man for all of this he was certainly under pressure and workload but to me as a guest was highly professional, helpful n never let it show

Everything ! The hospitality pod the staffs , the attention they gave on our daughter , the room was big , the bathroom also , the bed child was made already when we arrived , the breakfast was excellent, the restaurant was great ?

Very very nice staff that helped us with food for our baby late in the evening even though the restaurant was closed. Very nice family room for a good price

It was hard to get the baby to sleep because our bathroom for our bigger kids was in the same room as the baby

Room and especially the bathroom smelled and the toilet was not flushing. Thé flussing issue was fixed. But they had no options to provide us with a solution for the smell. Even for getting the toilet fixed i had to really push. "There was no maintenance guy present.

Staff were very friendly and attentive to whatever we asked. Food was lovely and fresh and the rooms were very spacious and clean.

Friendly check-in - I got there late - no food sadly as it had finished. But breakfast buffet very good - lots of choice, good quality. Hotel very clean although basic. Would happily stay again.

I got there late - I wanted some simple snack based food (there is a vending machine but wanted more than that). So something for late arrivals would be great.

Quick stay for a sporting endeavour. Breakfast was delicious, restaurant food not quite up to standard. Very clean hotel and very hospitable staff. Overall very nice stay.

The staff here are always welcoming and friendly.This is my third visit to the hotel and it is always very good.Checking in and checking out is always very straightforward.

Dinner at the Horizon restaurant wasn't great. Steak temperature was well-done instead of the requested medium. Other than that the meal was okay.

Location was convenient for our trip. Price was good. Having a restaurant to eat at after a long day was very nice. Free parking was also a bonus. Rooms were good size, like the joined family room. Beds were comfy & AC worked well. Breakfast buffet was delish!
