Very clean, nice service , comfortable

We like the place, already our second visit. Beautiful location , nice pool area (,very warm water) with steam bath, tasty breakfast, very warm rooms during the cold season.

The check in process is somewhat cumbersome, please try to make it more efficient. The rooms are rather old and basic, but still clean and comfortable enough.

A hidden treasure 1 hour away from busy Zurich. Beautiful, calm, peaceful place perfect to unwind after a busy stay in a big city. Extremely nice facilities, (room, bathroom, wifi, breakfast room, linens) Friendly and welcoming staff.

The location is gorgeous. It has a lovely view over the lake, and is close to hiking areas. The breakfast was really good. The food was good at the lunch too. The staff in the restaurant were really nice and helpful.

It is a bit dated in some aspects and the building is too large to be really cosy or anything.

The girls at the reception were kind and the food was good.

The buildings and rooms are very old and tired. Nothing like a spa here. More like old ski lodge. Very thin flat carpet that was old. More like a piece of felt. Church bells beside ringing every 15 minutes. Makes a very miserable night and sadly we had 2 there. ? Bathroom had mold in several places and was very small. Smallest of the 18 nights we had here in Switzerland. Also had smell that they tried to hide with a reed diffuser. Dogs barking on the patio below and during our dinner. We booked a deluxe double with a view of the lake. We could see a small corner of the lake but had roof and buildings in the way. Not an honest booking. Very disappointed.

Amazing location with views of the lake on the terrace, comfy beds (I wanted to take the duvet and pillows home!), good food and a super friendly team working at the hotel. My dogs were made as welcome as us.We took the dinner bed and breakfast option which we don't opt for often when travelling but due to the location thought it best - we were not disappointed.

The dining room was cramped and noisy. The room had a very restricted view and we had to request it to be changed. The whole hotel was "tired" and needed an refresk/update.

Very rude receptionist at the front. we did not feel welcome as soon as we got to the hotel.Small parking garage for small cars only

The restaurant and the view

The studio we had was really not up to date. Bathroom from the 80’s and shower curtain should be replaced , no airco, old and dirty looking carpet which you don’t want to walk on bare feet.

Its a beautiful property with great view.

1 we weren’t informed, that we would (room 118) be directly above the wedding party and we could make out all de bass chords till 02:30. 2 when we reached the reception they could not help, and would not compensate us for our lack of sleep and nuisance.3 the room was hot and we couldn’t open the windows because of the wedding guests standing directly under our windows and talking loud and smoking.

Nice staff, friendly and shuttle service to/from hotel to the bus stop very efficient.

The room I was given did not match the description and was no AC very hot day, no fan either. Was facing west, in ground level. No fridge, only one chair to sitdown. Very small room. Shower stall too small and inconvenient.

Had a wonderful stay with stunning views of the hills. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast while taking in the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this place!

The indoor pool, adjacent sauna was amazing. It was super clean. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to stay in between the mountains. Lots of hiking trails and also cable cars to the mountain

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable to sleep on

Excellent breakfast, very narrow and winding road to get to the hotel. Great Lake and Mountain View’s. Parking could sometimes be a little bit challenging.

I loved the swimming pool, fabulous views froˇ the hotel of the mountains and of the lake, the breakfast with great selection of foods included smoked salmon which is very rare these days. Emmettal is a lovely little town.

No EV chargers close by. It took a trip to th village.Generally the hotel also felt a little worn. Could use a refresher. But it was a fine place
