Near highway convenient for stopover

Breakfast was not as good as previous years, very limited and due to a large group of soccer players nothing left

Location and surroundings looks nice, rooms are clean and have the equipment up to what you may expect from a 4 star hotel (except for the lack of airco), beds were ok and bathroom was modern and clean.

There was no airco in the room and the temperature was in the high 20’s which made it uncomfortable and almost impossible to sleep, this is by far not what you may expect from a 4 star hotel. We were in the middle of youth soccer teams which made so much noise and disturbance that we were not able to sleep, there is no 24 hours reception. We had to deal with half drunk people managing the youth players which was hostile and even aggressive. Our complaints - made immediately through email during that night - were followed up but the only reply we got was an excuse and all kinds of arguments that are completely not relevant to the situation. We will not absolutely not return as interaction with the hotel management after that night - by email - only gave us a worse feeling on this situation. Customer service/experience was not felt at all.

We stayed one night. Upon arrival the receptionist (some waitress of the restaurant, was the only person at the reception) was doing cash register activities in plain sight with a about 30 invoices lying around. Not very welcoming. Rooms are small but clean. Unfortunately they are extremely warm as rooms do not have airconditioning. Sleeping was hell. The restaurant is very simple. Our reserved table outside had broken glass under the table and about 10 cigarettes butts were lying under and next to our table on the floor. I just can't believe that when you reserve a table you don't have the professionalism to check first if all is clean. Tomatosoup was nice but not warm. Chicken burger was overcooked, which probably is a good thing here. The hotel is lying next to a golf course, which is one of the ugliest I've seen in Europe. For a quick overnight stay the hotel is doable but no way this is 4 star. It's 3 star at best. Lady at check out was super nice.

Room was comfortable size and clean, toilet was modern and clean.

The lack of A/C makes this a less of a good choice during summer.The fact that you have to wait for certain organised groups to finish their meal, before getting a place in the resto, is not desireable. Although very nice staff and very good food made this a less of an issue for us. But it could be an issue if you arrive late after a long drive in the evening, to find out that you have to wait for two hours or more to be served in the resto. The hotel could implement a system to warn their customers by email in advance, which would help with planning your dinner in another place along the way, if necessary.Very soft pillows make sleeping very uncoformtable. Considering a price of a decent ergonomic pillow (as cheap as 30 EUR from IKEA), one cannot help to wonder why they keep such terrible pillows in such good accomodation.

The price of our stay has been steadily increasing over recent years. Still lovely, but we are feeling the pinch.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.Location was ideal for attending a local classic car show.

Very comfortable, pleasant staff, good breakfast. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

The weather was awful but that's not the hotels fault. We were I. A room at basement level which was nice but no view from the window. No hot drinks facility in room. No English language tv channels.

The location was convenient to go to the park. It was very silent

I still do not understand how it can be rated as 4star hotel. I was communicated that no restaurant was available on the Sunday, when we arrived the elevator was not working and the breakfast was not at the standard of a 4 star hotel, overall i also tink it was overpriced. I would rather say 3 star or maybe 3 star superior .. but not 4 star and not for this price.

Very heavy doors

Very nice room and quiet area. Great restaurant with very tasty food. Breakfast was also very nice and a lot of choices. Good and safe carpark. Close to the autobahn. Perfect for one night stay over. Will definitely stay again.

The TV in the room was on the small side. Also, the shower cubicle was tight.

Breakfast and service was excellent.

The elevator doesn"t work at nights. Nowhere was told the time when it was out of order. Because of dogs, it was complicated to use the stairways. The was not a aircooler in our room. Temperature was very high.

Clean hotel, clean room, quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was enjoyable with many choices. The staff were pleasant and helpful, english speaking a bonus. Free parking on site.A 15 minute walk to the Geiselwind Event Center, which is why I stayed here.

No complaints, I would stay here again.

We slept at the hotel whilst we were on a trip from the UK to Albania. The service from the reception was excellent, they were very gentle and helpful. The room was perfectly fine with all the facilities needed to have a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend booking a room and staying at Landhotel Geiselwind as it is a very nice place.

Everything was perfect!

Great breakfast - lots of choice. Fresh seeded rolls, fruit salad, fresh and cooked buffet.

Wish it was not so far from home!
