Hotel Savoy Palace

Our room was near the street with lots of noise from outside and inside of our room was visible from the road. Technology not even possible to change your clothes during the day! The rooms are very expensive for the quality of service and rooms they offer. Not worth the value at all

amazing staff. Pool was fantastic. Rooms were well thought out and extremely comfortable.

Dinner food was not good. Tasteless and not enough variety.

I found the bed uncomfortable which gave me four restless nights.The fitness room is poor, with a limited amount of equipment in a small room.When I first used the shower, it flooded the bathroom, so I had to turn the pressure down as low as possible to prevent it from happening again (another family member had the same issue in their room).The breakfast quality was fine, but there was only a limited number of choices compared to other hotels I've stayed in.

A little faded hotel, but with great atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was really friendly and service-oriented - thank you for making our stay great!

Obviously, the decor is a little outdated, nevertheless it's part of the charm.

Breakfast was good, we didn't try the hotel restaurant so I can't rate it. Lot of people were dinning there so I believe it was good. Great location - 10 meters from the lake, at the beginning of promenade with restaurants, bars etc.

So there is a problem with parking, only real solution you have to take the paid parking and it still isn't a real parking spot. Second biggest problem with this hotel is the service. When we tried to check-in at the reception, we waited our time for the check-in and when it was our turn the lady at the reception stopped our check-in procedure five time to assist other guest with pool towels, parking etc. I believe that if we waited in line they could also so the reception shouldn't treat one guests better from others. Or just hire more staff.Three, the hotel bar is open from 4pm. Before that we wanted to order some drink at the pool (35 degrees whether, that's normal) I went to the restaurant, they told me that they will come in few minutes. That didn't happened. I went to the reception, they told me to go to the restaurant and ask there. Finally after like an hour we got some drinks. Four, the hotel needs a bit of refresh. We had a problem with AC leaking water from the selling, to be honest when we talked about this at the reception the problem was fixed in 30 minutes so a big plus here. Short summary: there are better hotels at Garda at this price point.

Location, historic building, spacious room, good cleaning.

The design of the hotel. Staff. Breakfast. We only eat once re dinner which was very good but we prefer to eat out.Gardonne was very pretty and very relaxing

I did think the gardens would have been bigger with more loungers in the shade. I upgraded my room which was expensive for this purpose. The sun shades need to be bigger to provide proper shade.

The location was great, with ferries nearby to visit other resorts.

Some staff were relatively inexperienced, so you need to be careful. Otherwise everyone was helpful and the holiday went very well. Several good restaurants are nearby, and staff are knowledgeable and willing to advise and make bookings. This is a 4* hotel, and this rating is justified. The spa and gym is fairly small and the hotel has only one swimming pool and that was quite small.

One receptionist was lovely, the man manager also. The rest of the staff were not particularly friendly, restaurant staff also looked pretty glum. We have been on a road trip around Italy and this was the first hotel that although it allowed dogs, wasn't dog friendly. She wasn't allowed in pool area, bar or restaurant and had to stay in our room. So I wouldn't choose this hotel again for that reason. The complimentary body wash was empty when we arrived, and still empty 3 nights later. A better quality toilet paper would be nicer. There are only about 6 parking spaces for the hotel, if full you have to use a parking which is 12 euros a day. Pillows were uncomfortable.

A bit tatty , breakfast staff not very professional compared to all other places we stayed . Hate hangers that are attached! Why ?? Very little free parking that was offered

We loved the location of the property. And the grounds and pool were lovely.

I wished there had been a railing at the stair end of the pool to make it easier to get in and out.

Fabulous location and staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and being able to obtain a car park space on the ground floor. Very friendly and helpful welcome by the hotel staff on arrival. Very good breakfast. Our room overlooked the Lake and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony enjoying the view.

I think you need to improve the signage to your hotel. I actually drove past it and had to do a U-turn. Once I realised the mistake it was easy but my SatNav missed the entrance first time round!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms weee excellent size.

Location, size, cleanliness buffet breakfast and amazing hospitality from all of the staff members. We had a wonderful 4 nights stay in this beautiful hotel loaded with Italian warmth and charm. The pool was also lovely during the warmest of days and made our stay delightful. A very relaxing property loaded with Italian charm and modern conveniences.

I found the hard bed a little uncomfortable the beds could be more medium to soft …however everything else and the abounding charm made us very happy and comfortable. The restaurant could offer a more attractive lunch and dinner menu and it would be perfect.
