Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was lovely. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was excellent in terms of quality of food and staff. Spa was lovely.

The property is located in a prime spot, offering stunning lake views from rooms with balconies. Everything is conveniently within walking distance, and the area feels safe, scenic, and full of charm. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is impressive and adds to its character. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing and leisurely stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to guide you. Although the breakfast timings are a bit strict, the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It’s a boutique hotel with an exotic feel, providing excellent value for the price. A special bonus is the Friday flea market, which is a fantastic spot for shopping, and the nearby Bardolino walk was absolutely lovely.

During our stay, the AC wasn’t functioning properly, and the set temperature made the room feel quite warm. Since the weather outside was cool, we ended up keeping the window open at night for better air circulation. Also, the iron wasn’t available in the room—it was placed in the laundry room on the ground floor.

For a four star hotel this was a great spot. Perfect lakeside location. They suggested we attend their NY Eve party and it was very good. Sonia and Natascia both helped us book taxis in advance for trips to Malcesine and Sirmione which was very helpful. Room was awesome and very reasonable for a suite which we don't normally do. I really appreciated the daily newsletter with possible things to do that day. I kept them all for ideas for a return trip. Interestingly, I found this and the flyers at the hotel about ferry times and other activities as well as a folder in the Bar of suggested tours much more helpful than the website which had previously led me to believe there was not much going on in winter when in fact there was plenty to do. The restaurant staff did a great job on NYE for a full house. Very impressed.

Housekeeping left our room open accidentally but thankfully nothing was taken! Accidents happen so hopefully that was a one off and the reception apologised when we let them know. Their website does not contain the same great information as available at the hotel so either update the website or refer the guests to possible activities.

Right beside the lake front this hotel is a rare gem, old world style meets modern customer service. Staff were warm and helpful and the facilities second to none. The breakfast was of a very high quality and we would recommend a visit to the Patio restaurant if budget allows, quite the experience. The Spa and pool area were very high quality and the gym while small was very well equipt. Their Beauty salon gave an excellent service. Would love to return!

Couldn't fault anything at this hotel.

Regina Adelaide is a stunning hotel/spa/restaurant that specializes in wonderful service, exceptional facilities, great location, and awesome food. The restaurant is over the top excellent for dinner and breakfast. The spa looks brand new and has everything you could want to relax and enjoy some ‘me’ time. And the rooms are historic, comfortable, very clean, with everything you need for a good nights sleep. The location in the middle of the little historic town of Garda, right on the lake is one of the best reasons for a visit.

    Nothing!

wonderful massage. Rosa found my injury and fix it. Perfevt

    10AlexanderPosted on: 10-20-2024

Sauna was excellent. Breakfast was also great. Staff were kind and courteous. Great location just outside of the main restaraunt and shopping areas.

Don't need a second room cleaning between 7pm and 9pm.

Everything was very pleasant and comfortable especially as we had been touring by train and ready for a rest. The weather wasn't as good as hoped for but we had one wet day where we spent a happy of hours in the spa. The Breakfast buffet was nicely presented but only ate in the restaurant once. Nice idea to have the salad and cheese and dessert separate. The proximity to the town was very convenient and it was quite beautiful.

Our bathroom was a little small as the door hit against the toilet but the we were in a suite which was very nice. we prefer a shower not a handheld one over the bath.We were unhappy with the tasting menu. It was all beautifully described and presented but no course had the wow factor. In fact we went with another who had never had a tasting menu before and a couple of courses were not pleasant. It was a little embarrassing as we had invited them to join us.

    Location and the pool

My main problem with this hotel is an absolutely horrible internet service. After settling in the room, I complained and was told the next day that it was fixed. However, during the whole stay the internet service was spotty and slow. It doesn't extend to the pool at all. This hotel is expensive and pretends for a high star rating. This is just unacceptable. We also found that the front desk staff was not as friendly and polite as we would like them to be for the hotel of this class and the price they charge.

Very very nice spa. Beautiful swimming pool area. Friendly staff

No beach service. We missed One deodorizer small spray we have bought from our bathroom at the second day of our stay

    8NeilPosted on: 7-18-2024

A gracious historic hotel. 50m from lake front thru a small park. Room lake views now mostly obscured by trees in park but surprisingly that didn’t really bother us. Excellent restaurants and 100m to historic town, restaurants, shops and wine/food markets. Would stay again.

    Nothing really.

    9BrendanPosted on: 7-16-2024

The location. Adjacent to the lake. Restaurants on the doorstep 5 minutes. V close to bus stop/ferry port to visit other locations. Great staff with a family feel.

My wife and I disagreed on the internal decor. She felt it was a bit dated/traditional and prefers a more contemporary look. I quite liked it!

    Nothing really

Location is great.Breakfast is amazing.Room was big and quiet.Food at the restaurant overall was to die for. That 2 people rib-eye was the best thing ever!

Daughter got an eye infection from the pool, which raised some concerns on the cleanliness. One night and the next morning the restaurant staff felt not there. It was a little inconvenient if we wanted to ask for something. Wine stayed in the bottle.

Exceptional breakfast and great staff, really helpful at all times. Wellness centre and spa was wonderful. Would return

Rooms could be modernised slightly and a bigger gym with air conditioning would be great as an avid gym goer. After 3 days I had to give up working out as was so hot in the gym and equipment was limited
