Corfu Holiday Palace

The grounds were lovely, the food was good and the lobby lounge/bar nice. Staff were friendly. Views beautiful. Facilities were wonderful with several pools and SPA.

Room location horrible! First night woken 3am 2nd night 2am for garbage pick up. The noise was horrendous. It is close to airport but no shuttle is provided to aiport or into the city. I would not choose to stay here again.

we arrived at 14:30 h and our apartment wasn't ready. we were waiting up to 15:30 h and after serious arguing with reception, we received the key. it was very disappointed, because we saw how all other guests were accommodated, but not us. the pillows were very high and I was with headache on the next morning.

The location was good. Easy to get in and out of town via bus at the hotel. Comfortable bed and good breakfast.

The rooms were a bit rundown. Bathroom door didn’t fully close and hairdryer didn’t work.

The room we stayed with private pool was beautiful. So many nice sunsets. The pool itself was great with a toddler. However I do think it should be cleaned every day, I rang to ask to have it cleaned and they said it is cleaned daily but for sure it was not because there was lots of weird white stuff floating in it one of the days. They did send somebody to clean it.Breakfast was great, everything you want.The paid buffet was not worth the money.Did not go to other restaurants in the hotel, but you can find nice places around, or get a bus 10 minutes away. Loved the private beach although I do think they should maintain it a bit better, maybe could be much nicer with some more maintenance to make it less stoney, was a piece of broken flooring there that collapsed when I walked on it and I tripped and nearly fell onto a piece of rebar sticking out of the ground, which could of killed me potentially, so maintenance is required. On the first day there, there was a lady at reception who wasn't the most friendly. Needed modernising. A lot of water damage in various areas. Needs money spending on it to bring it up to 5*. I expect it was fantastic around 10 yrs ago and loads of potential.

The location of the hotel is beyond awesome and most of the staff are great. We would easily come here every year if we weren't disappointed with some things. The breakfast was beyond great. The view and location of the hotel is one of a kind. Easy to reach the town by public transport. The facilities and restaurants of the hotel were also very good.

We were very disappointed with a few things1. The toilet upon our arrival haven't been cleaned.....and the AC was really not performing.2. The pool had a strong chemical smell, and unfortunately, several clothes were discolored after contact. This was especially disappointing since the pool uses sea water. We ended up preferring the beach instead.3, I wasn’t feeling well and informed reception. They advised me to stay in the room and said a doctor would be sent. After several hours with no update, I went back to reception—only to find out the doctor had already left, and they had forgotten to inform him.4. Another guest mistakenly took our blouse. The hotel’s response was disappointing—they did little to resolve the issue. The item was eventually returned to reception after we had left. When we asked for it to be shipped to us, they said they ONLY work with an overpriced courier service (3 times the price any other door-to door courier would charge). When we asked to send our own courier, they said they only partner with this one and we would have to ask for permission to accept it! Even our simple request to put the blouse in an envelope so that the courier would be able to receive it was NOT accommodated! I repeat this is an item someone else took, without our fault ! In a similar occasion that i left something by mistake in another hotel (4 times cheaper) they send it to me free of charge, despite being my fault, and me offering to pay. Same thing with taxi for the airport. They would not book a taxi but the limousine service they work with!!! Honestly any other hotel of this price tag would go above and beyond to keep clients satisfied. Despite the hotel being on the very expensive side, they performed more like a low-cost airline. It is a pity cause it was not the first time we stayed in this hotel and we really wanted it to be the place we would return to every year.

Room was clean (pool had not been skimmed) & location was nice with easy walk or elevator down to the beach. The breakfast buffet was good (it was better than the “private” restaurant breakfast we were offered as part of the bungalow package)

Not worth the money. We had a suite with a private pool - it was the size of a hot tub (much smaller than we expected) & despite the water being clear it turned out bathing suits green. Claims luxury but isn’t really up to date, so the price to what you get perspective isn’t aligning. Beach area - no beds available & water was a bit grim from shallow waters and lots of use. We preferred swimming in other nearby places

Its ideal setting on the mountain offers a stunning sea vista.

The hotel in general is old and needs un upgrade and improvments, particularly Rooms was spacious But was very dull,The built-in cabinets, like the pantry, fell apart simply by placing an empty plastic bag inside, and the hinge on my kids' bungalow cabinet door came off unexpectedly!I felt really disappointed upon arrival as it was Overrated on booking!

Great place, poor value for money, food is great, stay away from La Veranda

Rooms were obviously old or unmainteined. Vents in bathroom don't work, the lights in the rooms are activated by manually reaching for the cord of the lamp insted of just pressing the light switch (which doesnt do anything). Clear mold on the bathtub with some paint in it, had problems a lot. But there were no bedbugs

Everything! It’s just old and dated. My air conditioning in the room, barely worked, and it was very hot outside! The food in the restaurant was the worst we had on the entire trip! For the price it just really was not worth it. It looks pretty but then close up it just is very dated.

The air conditioning was not the best, but when we did tell them about it, they did come up and fix it.

Our room was very spacious with a nice view to the sea and the airport of Corfu, it seemed a little empty though as if there were some furniture missing. The breakfast was fine, with lots of options. The staff was very friendly and always to our service

The premises need some renovation overall or better maintenace, espacially the rooms. It feels and looks old and old fashionned

The staff was very nice and helpful. I, also, liked the shared pool and the breakfast. We had plenty of choices for breakfast.

We were treated excellently by the staff, especially by Miss Constantina. We were upgraded to a room with view, and it was just beautiful! The beds are super comfortable. The breakfast was good and the access to the beach was definitetly a plus. We loved chilling by the pool, it is very agreeable.

The fitness center needs attention, machines don´t work. The breakfast was nice but I would´ve desired more variety of fruits, the pastries were okay, quality could be upgraded. To be honest we found it expensive, but compared to other hotels in the area it is worth it.
